The location was amazing! The Hotel is right by the sea and all the bedrooms and common areas are built to enjoy the view. The bar, the breakfast room and the pool let you enjoy Pico all day long. Each room has an individual balcony so you can enjoy the sunset! The staff is always very helpful and kind! And you can have crepe with Nutella for breakfast!

I can’t say enough about this place! For starters great communication. Amazing guy Beto picked us up and showed the property. Spotless, helpful, grand views, comfy. If I could give it (and Beto) a higher rating I would.

The rooms were well appointed, beds were comfortable, property was well located and a beautiful place to unwind and enjoy a glass of wine while looking at the ocean! The multiple apartment style accommodations are great for a large family or multi-family getaway. The Koi ponds and gardens were also quite enjoyable to walk!

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain.

The staff is really friendly! It is great having access to the shared kitchen and there were self-made cookies available that were delicious. The view is great over the bay and onto Pico. It’s a calm area with several places to eat around and the local fishers just down the street fishing.

The property is located on the hill of Velas city with an amazing view on Pico mountain and the sea. Nice walking distance from the city center. Apartment is well equipped, spacious and clean. It is perfect! The owner replies to messages fast and is very helpful.

i stayed one week at this lovely place and although the weather was not the best, i enjoyed every single day🤗 when i arrived, the owner welcomed me with some special and delicious fruits, i have never seen before and one day i got a private tour through the whole fruit garden which is very huge not only around the house, there is also a big plantation in the hills nearby and there are a lot more fruits of all kinds with mainly origin from brazil there is also a minimarket nearby and with the car you can explore this special island with its very dramatic and narrow streets and breathtaking villages on the coastline...

Pico is a beautiful island full of beautiful fresh nature and discovering the secrets of the fajas. The house is a two-story flooded fisherman's house above the ocean, a short distance from the coast, with an open window you feel like you are on a boat... everywhere there is a charming view of the water surface with the sunset. There is a possibility of swimming near the house. The rooms are clean and spacious, bright spacious and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable large beds and a modern bathroom with a good shower. There is good parking at the house. A car is a must, Mr. Marius helped us a lot with renting a car. We went all over the island and it is beautiful, mountain flowers and hydrangeas everywhere, excellent places for hiking and very tasty food in small restaurants, I highly recommend and at reasonable prices. The most expensive dishes are around 12-15.- euros, large plates of steaks or fresh seafood and fish. A surprise of local cheese and coffee was waiting for us at the house to welcome us. Very kind attention, thank you :-) I wish to come back again:-)
