Great location. Safe and comfortable. We really enjoyed coffee in the room, the common area was also nice . The lighting in the room was overall cozy and we liked it, but there could be additional light for make-up (LED light from the mirror was not enough) Not a problem because all smartphones have flash light that can use as a torch, but it would be cool if the room already has the light for that.

The property is perfect. Brand new, super clean with great design and the friendliest staff ever met. Miguel and Mariana went over beyond our hospitality expectations! They welcomed us with warm, helped us with all the needs we had regarding the hotel and the city. One day we wanted to watch a tv programme from our country and Miguel carried another TV in order to have the connectivity with our laptop. The most amazing gesture we ever had. We definitely recommend the place anytime you wish to visit Porto!!!!

The staff surprised us with cake and a bottle of wine on our arrival (it was my husband's bday). Beautiful hotel, spectacular views, great food, friendly staff, a chef's garden, vineyard and relaxing pools and spa. We enjoyed our time relaxing. What a wonderful treat after walking the camino portugese. The sommelier, Ferminio, was so friendly and kind. We will recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful room with private balcony overlooking the Duoro River and the town of Porto. Great location with a back entrance that gives access to the town below. Wonderful dining facilities, so nice to have an after dinner drink in the evenings at Dick's Bar out on the Terrace and watch the sun going down over the town. Generally a beautiful Hotel. I will definitely want to come back.

I loved Portugal and Porto was my final city, and was the cherry on the sundae! Although a big city it's super easy, walkable city to get around, and there is lots to see and do. I always recommend a walking tour to help get to know your bearings.

Due to poor weather, a week in October, we couldn't get to explore and enjoy the local area as much as we would have liked. Matosinhos beach is fabulous, surfers out every day, but too cold and windy for swimming. Would consider returning again in summertime

This place gets a well-deserved 5 stars—no doubt about it! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, cozy, and totally like home. It’s huge, sparkling clean, and honestly… it looks even better than in the photos (and that’s saying something!). Usually with apartments that look this good, you think: “Yeah right, too good to be true.” But nope—this one actually turned out to be better than too good! It’s got everything. And I mean everything: coffee machine, iron, washing machine, dishwasher… you name it, it’s there—and all in tip-top shape. We were just the two of us, but there’s more than enough space for 4 or even 6 people to hang out comfortably. And the view… wow. Just wow. Need a room with a view? Look no further—this is the one!

Having been born in the vicinity, with loads of family living here, it’s almost like homecoming. A fantastic place to visit and so much to do. The surrounding towns, villages and near beaches are amazing. The casino in Espinho is also really good with fantastic shows and meals on offer. Really love the area, it’s not looking run down and quite well maintained. The coffee shops and pastelarias are in abundance everywhere and make for very relaxed and pastry full enjoyable meetings with friends and family.

Vila do Conde is a charming town that is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of a large city, if that is what you are used to, or looking to get away from. There are many good restaurants in the area. We hired a car for the duration of our stay as we wanted to travel further afield whilst adding stops along the way and choosing the most scenic routes.

It’s my hometown so I’m biased but I think it’s gorgeous, the views are incredible. It’s small and quaint but that’s part of the charm. It’s very community driven, everyone is friendly, some of the best food you’ll ever eat and it’s the perfect place to relax. If you need a getaway from the world and to just tune in with nature; Amarante is the place to go. I would definitely go to the traditional spots to eat so you can learn a little bit of history as well as get a great bite. I also heavily recommend riding the little boats in the river Tâmega.
