Fantastic localization near few steps to Rynek Gl. Room was silent, clean with all needs facilities. Fast Wi-Fi connection. Amazing breakfast with many variants (everyone find something delicious). Kindly, helpful and fantastic crew - everyone guests will feel in this hotel like at home. It was my another time spend in this hotel and it is my mandatory accomodation in Poznan. The excellent and stylish Puro Poznan was the best find for our Christmas stay. The hotel is located on the edge of the old town, walking distance from the Stary Rynek and close to a tram stop. The restaurant is fantastic and we enjoyed an excellent Christmas lunch here. The rooms are comfortable and a spacious livingroom area downstairs to play games, relax and enjoy the free coffee machine.

Amazing hotel close to the city centre. Parking next to the hotel. Dog friendly. Designed rooms. We love interior with all details. Very clean. Welcome drink and fruit. Books and games avaiable in the room. Nice and helpful stuff. Delicous breakfast from the menu and variety of choices from cold buffet. Everything was just perfect. Pity we stayed just one night on our way up to the north. We would definetely come again.

Kalisz is an authentic Polish city, lots to do and see, I particularly liked the garden strolling park outside the hotel, we also liked the ‘White Bear’ cafe……we only had one night in Kalisz bu5bwoukd consider going back for a long weekend.

Quiet town with a lot of history.

Quiet town with a lot of history. Good restaurants many round the main town square. Bus travel is a bit limited due to there schedule but taxis are plentiful and travel in them cheap compared to England. Inability to speak Polish not a hindrance as many people in the hospitality industry speak English and will advise on food and drink choices if asked. But if you want to explore the surrounding area a car is essential.

Let me preface my review by saying that I'm American and I was in Piła for business. I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to explore. Overall, I thought Piła was very nice. It was pretty clean and very pretty. There's a river that runs through town and a nice trail that follows along side it. Piła is not touristy, but there are still a fair bit of people who speak English. There was only one little Kebab shop we went to where the employee spoke minimal English, but everywhere else the employees were proficient. Most places were closed on Sunday, which was unexpected. Prepare for that.

Besides the obvious attractions like 1000 y.o.

Besides the obvious attractions like 1000 y.o. Drzwi Gnieznienskie and History Museum, the trail of fun rabbit monuments all around the Old Town and lakes, there are some mor gems here to justify 2-3 day stay. We enjoyed open summer pools in the city with kids and an evening in a local brewery - both easily discoverable on google maps. Nearby (20 min drive or 15 train ride plus 1h walk) there's an opportunity for a whole day excursion to Ostrow Lednicki. It's an island reachable by short ferry ride where a Gród (a medieval Slavonic fortified settlement) remains can be found an a trail through different historic exhibits. It can take you anywhere form an hour to half day depending on your patience, walking tempo and interests. Theres also a great karczma (traditional restaurant) need by and a couple of small beaches to enjoy the lake.

People in Ostrow are extremely nice and helpful. Just lovely - whenever we went, we met nice, kind and helpful people with smiles on their faces. The city is pretty and clean. We went to attend Temple of Silence festival in Forum Synagoga, which is a beautiful building. There is plenty of places to eat and drinks, loads of boutiques and jewellery places. Really lovely town.

It was our fifth time to Poland.

It was our fifth time to Poland. Had visited Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, and Warsaw previously. Christmas markets were not up to the standard advertised. Very few sellers or polish crafts. Not very interesting as a city, too little to see. We went on the 2 hour trolley tour. Guide was very informative and friendly. Tours were quite expensive, I thought. Food was lovely and the staff in the restaurants, stores, and hotel were very friendly and helpful, and oh so mannerly. A lovely race but Poznan lacked the atmosphere we had hoped for.

Kalisz is a cozy town with a river and a beautiful park.

Kalisz is a cozy town with a river and a beautiful park. Here you can visit Catholic churches, climb to the top of the town hall and see the whole city, visit museums. Gołuchów Castle, surrounded by a beautiful park, is about a 20-minute drive away. In many places in the city you can taste interesting Polish dishes.

Charming Leszno old town is a hidden treasure, worth taking time to explore on foot nearby basilica, palace, parks, "starowka", tree lined alleys, and taste delicious pierogi best in town at "pierogalnia", warming spicy tea at "lu lu cafe".

Grocery stores and restaurants everywhere. Many different shops. BigBen Pub has great pizza and many different beers. Great people/owners. Very easy to walk or catch a bus. Many trees, bike paths, parks, etc.
