Everything was simply perfect! Highly recommended. In my opinion it exceeds the scale (it should get more than 10). The apartment is very stylish, well equipped and finished to a high standard. All rooms are huge, this vast space additionally adds to the charm of this apartment. The bedroom is cozy and nicely finished, beds are very comfortable, It was really quiet at night despite being so close to city center. Moreover, the apartment I booked had a sauna in the bathroom, which is quite rare. The bathroom itself is beautifully finished and is also spacious with everything you need and more. The apartment also has a kitchenette and a minibar and there are large wardrobes at the entrance, which is very practical. Generally, the whole place seems like its has been very well thought out. I haven't felt so comfortable in a long time.

This was my 2nd time I visited and PJ is a great place to stay if you're exploring Beskydy, everything there is very easy on eye too! I was lucky to find everything I needed including very friendly personel, good facilities and food. Was pleased to have room with great views again and being treated by really lovely therapist when I went for a massage. Sauna and swimming pool were on my daily menu too ☺️ It's only 35mins drive from Ostrava so easy for weekend escape!

A beautiful old building, restored with great taste and sensitivity. A charming garden with plenty of space to relax, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent food and, above all, charming and very helpful hosts. If you are looking for unique, intimate places in exceptional locations, this is one of them. We will definitely be back.

The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was good, nice terrace to eat, no smoking, nice bar. Friendly staff that speaks English. A private bowlinglane and we had the pool and jacuzzi mostly to ourselves aswell. Great tennis court and you can hike and mountainbike straight from the hotel. A nice very old school gym.

The personnel was great. We went there with a dog and they for example took care of our dog when we were in wellness or on a massage. The attitude of the staff was perfect. Also the wellness was great - from the pool to outside thermal baths and massages. The food was brilliant too. We really enjoyed the stay.

It is a town with an industrial atmosphere, cut in two halves with a frequented motorway. Lots of old delapidated factory buildings. There are some nice places, like the main squares of Frýdek and Místek or the park by the river Ostravice, but the general feeling is not very inspiring. The best thing is the short distance to the beautiful Beskydy mountains, which are easily accessible by bus, train or car. It is easy to get around on foot or on the local buses.

The spa

The spa The fact we traveled from Ireland for new years celebrations and the hotel closed all facilities on new years at 8pm and did not reopen until we had left. This meant we were left trying to find a supermarket or restaurant in the area to get some food. An utter disgrace.

Ostrava is having a bit of an image reshape from it's old industrial look, now the riverside is much nicer, and I saw many improvements in progress. For a mining city, the air quality (on a weekend) was good. There are a few nice restaurants at the main square. When I arrived, a local recommended I find a friendly bar called, "The Dock", nice open place close to the river. good food... I know ... food again.... If you come to Ostrava, you must see the zoo!

The bus and train stations are miles away from each other.

The bus and train stations are miles away from each other. I found it hard to navigate the underground areas around the stations on Google Maps. There was very little to see in Ostrava that I felt was worthwhile. Probably didn't help that it rained most of the day I was there and the castle is closed on Mondays. Thank goodness for La Brasserie whose lovely staff and premises provided me with a lovely place to wait out the weather before leaving Ostrava. I do not recommend a visit unless you love industrial stuff. I do not haha!
