The best staff and service around! Really lovely hotel, brilliant location, close to excellent shopping and restaurants, as well as good links to public transport. Room was nice and comfortable with a decent set up. Nice air con. Bed was large and comfortable. Downstairs there is a nice bar/restaurant area, it's very pretty, nice for when you want to relax and unwind at the hotel.

Super nice hotel, everything was modern, neat, clean and comfortable. Big private parking lot. They had an electric car charger, although a slow one (4kW). Onsite restaurant, supposedly a good one, but we were not able to have dinner there due to very late arrival. Breakfast was excellent. Bytom center was a short walk away with more restaurants available there.

Definitely pay extra for a garden view and take advantage of the one hour spa time included in your reservation. Friendly and professional staff. The garden is very beautiful. The spa really surprised us, it is very exotic. We really liked the idea that you have it all for yourself at a given time slot.

If not for the event held there, it is not a city we would...

If not for the event held there, it is not a city we would have chosen to visit. We aren't complaining, though. Despite the cold and constant rain we experienced, we feel like we got a true view of an everyday non-tourist town that is clean, safe, and friendly. The transportation system is incredible. Imagine modern buses trains and taxis not only sharing the roads in an organized manner but marveling that such a system was built leaving the cobblestones and buildings of ancient times intact. We love that about the European towns we have visited. It is a little out of the way for US travelers, but we would recommend a visit if you happen to be in the vicinity. It is bustling but not overcrowded. We enjoyed our visit.

It is a beautiful, clean, and quiet city near Katowice in...

It is a beautiful, clean, and quiet city near Katowice in German style almost at the cross of A4 and A1 highways. Center\downtown is a typical Polish historical district with buildings mainly from the 1900 years. It deserves a few days to walk in the center, visit Palmarnia, the wooden radio tower, and the Villa Cairo museum.

The apartment is esthetically decorated and very spacious. However, for my stay of just one night a few things were definitely missing: shampoo, hair dryer, and although there was a coffee maker, there was coffee. The apartment was cold and the water was cold too.

Great staff, always friendly and trying to meet your needs. Beautiful spa. Basic rooms, no kettle in the room and not very comfortable beds. But after all the experience was really nice regardless and for the price. You get what you pay for.

Dąbrowa Górnicza is not a "touristy" town.

Dąbrowa Górnicza is not a "touristy" town. But it has it's perks though. Large and green parks, a Pogoria lake with many attractions. It's nicely located between Katowice and Krakow. Close to The Trail of the Eagles' Nests (Polish: Szlak Orlich Gniazd), a marked trail along a chain of 25 medieval castles.

Beautiful, lively city with friendly people and nice places to visit. The Silesia park is definitely worth a visit along with the amusement park next to it. There are also many fun places to spend the evening.

Well- if you are coming here its probably not because of...

Well- if you are coming here its probably not because of hunt for beautiful views or splendid architecture. It's not a world class tourist hub- just a little, kinda sleepy city. Do not take me wrong- there is nothing bad about it, it has its own, german-ish charm, nice restaurants, pleasant town square and is quite well connected- you should not be disappointed, just do not expect too much and you will be fine.

We didn’t know what to expect from Katowice as it isn’t really known as a touristy destination and is often described as “industrial” but we had a lovely day there - cracking museum ( Silesian museum) which had many different exhibits and we strolled around town and found some lovely places to eat. Not very easy to get to Auschwitz from there on public transport - we got a taxi for about£40
