Mia is the owner manager. She is very able and willing to solve every single problem. She did contact the driver to pick me up.The breakfast was delicious. During my holiday, there was a birthday party and they made me feel like someone of the family. I advise you to have this wonderful experience.

New clean very well presented. Owner was lovely allowed us to drop our bags when we got of the ferry until our room was ready. Also had secure parking for our bikes. Very comfy bed. Great aircon and calling fan.

I enjoyed the facilities especially the beach and gym. The staff was amazing especially Gelai, the duty manager and Joy, Morning Catch's outlet manager. I know that the biggest factor in someone's experience is the customer service and Discovery Samal"s staff went above and beyond to give me and my family a wonderful time! Thank you all!

Excellent stay, they should be finishing the swimming pool and other facilities soon, and it's only going to elevate the experience. It is also removed from other busy parts on Samal, so if you wish to have a more private stay, this is your best option. Loved our stay!

We arrived a day earlier than anticipated, they were generous enough to get us settled in a different room and give us 5 star treatment. The owner came to our room to personally inspect it.
We stayed here because we couldn't find any availability at pearl-farm, which I had stayed at a few years back and loved. Now I don't understand why anyone would stay at pearl-farm over this place. This is a better resort, hands-down. The food is much better, the service is much better, and it is far prettier than pearl-farm. If it hadn't been for me being sick and desparately needing wifi from bed, the stay would have been perfect.

We strolled around Samal area and visited some of their precious tourist spots, it was worth the experience. My friends and I really enjoyed the view and the attractions, the cab driver was very accomodating and helped us a lot. Overall experience was excellent

highly recommended... suggest hiring a scooter near the port to get there as it will be about the same cost as a single tuk tuk journey
Mommy Mia is also an excellent chef and maybe persuaded to make a simple meal for a reasonable cost.

Samal is a quaint and beautiful island.
Samal is a quaint and beautiful island. There are some nice places like the Monfort Bat Sanctuary and the Giant Clam Conservancy. I went to the white sand beach for swimming. Being in a channel, the current was swift so I couldn't really go out beyond the swimming area, and it suddenly gets deep as well. I didn't like it for swimming, more for touring.
