As a guest who has visited all four and five star hotels in Makati during many stays in Manila, I have to say that in my opinion the Sommerset central stands out among these good hotels. Of course, every rating depends on personal preferences, but I particularly like this hotel too because of the friendliness of the staff. In general, employees in the Philippines try far more to be helpful than in many other countries. but in the summer set Central they are slightly surpassed

The room was exceptional (bathroom with external window), fantastic views of BGC, Makati and Manila Bay with sunset, all the facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym etc.) are at the top. Food choice and quality for breakfast was incredible and unique. A special thanks to Jose from the front desk. A six star hotel!

1. Beds were big. 2. Real slippers were provided. 3. Our room has a bath tub which we did not expect. 4. Basic toiletries were provided. 5. Our room is spacious. 6. There is free breakfast. Although the choices are limited, I can't complain because I only added PhP250 to include breakfast for three persons. Eating breakfast outside would likely cost us around 450 pesos each. 7. Location is very ideal as it is in front of SM North. It is very accessible. 9. Internet connection is okay.

The best hotel ever , verry nice room and everything in hotel is clean. Staff is verry helpfull and nice. I had a bday for my girlfriend there. The bakery downstairs in the hotel baked a birthday cake in 1 hour. And Marco the manager went with me to 10 flower shops to find more flowers. This service is really great and I have never encountered it anywhere. Definitely staying in this hotel is really worth it!

The room was exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, they even have “taho” which I love. This hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it.

The place is perfect if you have a flight to catch. You can get a car on Grab which will take you to the airport in 15mins. We had to use this hotel since we had few flights to and from Manilla. Its very handy and cheap as well. Dont expect any luxury since its not a fancy hotel.

For people who are used to living in cities, I highly recommend the Malate district of Manila. You can see the vibrant energy of the people there, and the food ranges from high-end to street food. It's often said to be a dangerous city, but I didn't feel particularly scared during my trip there. You can sense the dangerous areas by the atmosphere. And Filipinos are very kind, always greeting you with a smile. It's fun just to watch them. It's a great country.
