Consistent hospitality of the staff, friendly and able to assists all our queries. Able to use the beach facilities and it was excellent! Hope on my next visit for the shower/changing room at the beach side (Mactan Newtown Beach) be fixed since the pool area was a bit crowded and far.

(Blue Tulip is operated by Clockwork Orange suites, this review holds for both) A great place to stay in Mactan close to the airport. The room/studio is exceptionally comfortable, well equipped and well designed as well. There is a lot of attention to detail, such as international+USB power outlets all over the rooms, kitchen facilities (stove, microwave, rice cooker, toaster, coffee maker), two widescreen TV's with Netflix, good Wifi, mineral water dispenser (both cold and boiling), rain shower, jacuzzi, locker, etc. The design of the studio(s) with its colored lights is unique and adds to the experience. Also the interior is very practical, such as multiple tables with chairs to eat/work/sit. Especially for stays around arrival/departure this location is perfect given it is 5 minutes from the airport, but we would even advice to consider it for a lengthier stay. There are many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket close by. The restaurant in the building (La Famiglia) is great as well with a broad selection of foods. This place is great value for money and we definitely recommend it!

it was good and convenient to have Robinsons next door easy to get a taxi We ate a lot at the round building near the fountains opposite MacDonalds. we did not go to the local beach as the charge was WAY to much. there is two Chemists just nearby

It is where we can see the Lapu Lapu Shrine and the entrance therein is free. the beach we have visited there is Newtown Beach.. the water there is clean. They have friendly staff and peaceful ambience.

More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT...

More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.

not recommended for older people or people with any phsical limitations due to dangerous steep steps unless using 1st floor and very hard to use security lock and sync tv n wif fi

The community is great.

The community is great. They have a convenience store easy access. The building staff are friendly. They also have a gym. For long term stay and traveling I would recommend this stay to get to know the locals. Great place and a value for money

We chose a resort on Mactan because it was close to Cebu...

We chose a resort on Mactan because it was close to Cebu City and we only had three days at the end of an island hopping cycling tour that finished in Cebu City. Now that we have seen other islands I would recommend that guests take a ferry and go to Bohol or Soquijor islands if they have more than 2 nights stay available. The overall experience will be much nicer , including better beaches and snorkeling.

Outside resort very run down and poor not like Ayala area Mainly for Koreans as 90% of food outlets cater To visit main seaside mall upwards of 700peso each way Can be difficult getting transport back

Spacious studio, very clean and fast internet, 55-inch smart TV, fully equipped kitchen. A restaurant downstairs or walk 5 minutes. easy access to transport, Tricycle, taxi, bus. laundry and convenience store downstairs. easy transport to most attractions in Cebu City or resorts in Mactan. There is a Starbucks and mall close by with an easy walk.

Stay at another Condo the previous night.

Stay at another Condo the previous night. That one was a 9 out of 10. That had a far better bed, nice fridge freezer, microwave, lots of utensils, glasses, crockery and working WiFi. This one sadly did not. Best 2 out of 10. Would not recommend.

To be honest it isn't a particularly scenic island.

To be honest it isn't a particularly scenic island. I was there to complete my scuba training. In hindsight, I should have gone elsewhere in the Philippines. The people are very friendly, but they are everywhere in the Philippines. I would suggest avoiding the island and Cebu city. You would be better off in Bohol etc. Far more beautiful.
