The villas, the experience, and the hosts Carl and P.Y. are absolutely amazing! Very quiet and very well designed boutique resort. I would 100% recommend. We visited several beaches during our stay, and Nacpan beach/twin beach (5 mins away in moped) was our favorite one. Waking up to the most gorgeous sunrises over the rice fields with some fresh hot coffee and pancakes/smoothie bowls made by the hosts was an amazing way to start the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at S Resort. The décor is beautiful and well-designed, giving the whole place a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Our room was clean, simple, and comfortable, which made our stay very easy and enjoyable. The bathroom was also great — very clean, bright, and comfortable to use. The hot water and water pressure were consistent, which made showers really refreshing after a day out. The location is excellent. It’s close to everything in El Nido town — the beach, restaurants, convenience stores, and the meeting points for island-hopping tours are all within walking distance. Getting around was completely hassle-free. The staff were wonderful as well. Everyone was friendly, polite, and helpful. They responded quickly whenever we needed help arranging transportation or booking tours, which made our trip much smoother. Breakfast was also enjoyable, with plenty of fresh options. The croissants were especially good — definitely one of our favorites each morning. Overall, S Resort gave us a fantastic stay: beautiful décor, a comfortable and clean room, a nice bathroom, a perfect location, and warm, helpful staff. We’d be happy to stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting El Nido.

We spent an enjoyable 6 nights in this superb hotel. Anyone considering a visit to el nido need look no further than the sea cocoon hotel from the point of view of value, location, superb staff, free breakfast deal and plain 100% satisfaction. We loved Lio beach, a little out of town, near the airport. Getting local transport on a motor bike sidecar job was right outside the hotel. We found a choice of 40 dining choices easy walking distance from the hotel, many on the sea front. If you intend taking the boat trips to the reefs, lagoons, deserted islands, you can see the embarcation beach from your top floor breakfast table....a few minutes walk away. El nido is a special place and the sea cocoon hotel is the ideal base there. From Tony and Monica Moore.

We stayed for four nights. We were received from El Nido Airport by Mantiloc Resort, then we moved from the airport to the port by an air conditioned van. When we got off from the boat, there was playing an welcome music, there were staffs who received us with a necklaces and welcome drink. They were advised that I’m 5months pregnant, so when we arrived to the resort, they offered to stay downstairs instead of going up 99 stairs, but they also offered to try it by myself. I finally decided to stay downstairs, and I think it was a good decision. Also we arrived to the resort at 8am and they offered to check in earlier. Very kind from their side since we were exhausted The staff was very kind and helpful all the time, our special thanks to Jed. He also called us last morning to wake up us before the breakfast time ends. He was worried all the time. The resort has nature environment and well cared modern building with two pools, one of them an infinity. Although i can imagine it should be very hard to bring stuffs from the land, we lacked nothing. We took a private tour, Estantula Island, Big Lagoon and Snake island. We doubed initially because of the high cost. Around 400 dollar for two pax. But I think it really worthed. Spacial thanks to Ninio, our tour guy. Very helpful all the time. We felt very cared. The lunch was also very special, with table, tablecloth, silverwares, variated dishes and also fruits. Thanks to the Korean director also, he came to us to offer any help, I asked him to exchange some korean wons to philippine pesos so I can tip the staff. Don’t forget to take some changes with you, you will feel bad when you don´t have ten dollars in your hand to tip the people. The highlight part: all the staffs saying us goodbye when we were leaving the island by boat. I will definetely come back when my son grows up enough

If there is paradise, Pangulasian resort is it!!! We don't want to spoile all the wonderful surprises that are waiting for you in the resort... but must share some of them here: It all starts at the airport, where the resort representative came to greet us and take care of us on our short and pleasant journey to the resort. Upon arrival we had a beautiful welcoming from staff and especially from GM Thomas who made sure every day that our stay is nothing short than perfect! We stayed in a beach villa which was extremely beautiful and comfortable. The resort offers many complimentary activities including, kayaking, snorkeling and island tours that we were lucky enough to have them with Joe - who is an extraordinary guide! The staff were incredible- friendly, caring probably some of the best in the business! We specifically want to note Max who made all our dinners and breakfasts exceptional with her charming personality and smile. Also special thanks to Mike (food and beverages direcor), Ford and Amor (who managed and maintained our villa), Randy (the talented singer who made our dinners unforgettable) and all other staff for their exceptional service. The food and drink options were excellent and we loved that the resort believes eco friendly but yet manages to deliver top notch luxury!! El Nido Pangulasian resort is definitely a unique place for vacation for anyone seeking adventure, private, luxurious and natural beauty!!! We will definitely prioritize returning to this amazing resort!!!

Friendliness of staff, thanks a lot to the whole team for helping me arrange a van to Puerto Princesa when my flight had been cancelled and I couldn't get any other from El Nido! They were very helpful and reassuring. Food is great, I recommend the chicken Sisig. They have a good cocktails list as well. Mind you, the Lio area is slightly pricier so don't expect El Nido town prices. The place is beautiful, huge pool with beautiful design and plenty of space to sit around. My room was big too, with a large bathroom. Strong WiFi and air conditioning. Both Lio beach and airport are accessible by trike in 10 minutes.

Everything was perfect. The owners and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The view from our Villa and from the Pool area was mezmerizing. The food was awesome. We tried a few restaurants in the town and at vanilla beach but nothing could get close to the food of Chef Bong! Thank you so much for everything. We will come back for sure 😃

I like more the location, very close to the beach and restaurants are closeby. Complimentary sunset watching with the local boat was fantastic and the complimentary snorkeling, had so much fun. There are still plenty of activities the hotel offer but we have not tried the others. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.

We read about this hotel and there were many complaints about the humidity but apart from the fact that here there is a lot of humidity everywhere and it is normal in this hotel, in each room there are air condition and you sleep very well for sure.

PROS: Staff very friendly and helpful, natural surrounding areas great (although some of the nature walks showed lack of maintenance). The trees were even labeled! resort grounds and rooms well-maintained and clean. CONS: Resort was far from main town center via 20 min tricycle ride and no grocery store in resort.

Lively, plenty of food and party options. Good access to beaches nearby. More expensive than most places in the Philippines though. I personally liked El Nido town more than Coron but thought the tours in Coron, especially snorkelling, coral reefs and fish life better up there compared to what I saw in El Nido . Found in both places it pays to book accomodation ahead as it books out quickly.
