We liked pretty much everything about this place. The building was grand, the staff were friendly and service minded. The room was beautiful and modern, and the food was top notch. We ate both at their breakfast buffet, their marble + grain restaurant, and ordered some room service for lunch. It was all great tasting and well prepared. They also take security very seriously. They check everyone who enters the hotel, so we felt very safe. We also received a free room upgrade, which we didn't expect, but was very much appreciated. Thank you for making our stay in Cebu so memorable, Hotel Bai.

We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food, wine and coffee was all excellent and served with care and attentiveness. The infinity pool (and the view from it) was stunning and the poolside furniture was very comfortable (especially the reclining rocking chairs) . Our hosts were very helpful and kind. Location was excellent if you are a diver and want to see thresher sharks. Great dive operation on site. The room was comfortable with a lovely balcony. The restaurant was great, very convenient and the food varied and delicious. The staff were great and very helpful. Having a cocktail by the beach watching the sunsets, which were beautiful, was a wonderful experience.

I was in transit and looking for a budget friendly hotel that was close to the Ayala mall and I was very happy to have chosen Red Planet. I work online and the internet was very good. The staff are super friendly - shoutout to the housekeeping staff! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and as someone who does not like air-conditioning, I did love that there was a ceiling fan. There was a 7/11 just outside the hotel and for everything else: shopping, dining, entertainment, the mall was literally just a block away. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely rebook in the future!

I had an excellent stay at Rate Bayfront Hotel Cebu North Reclamation! The staff was extremely professional and attentive throughout my stay, always willing to help with anything I needed. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The open lobby had a beautiful tree out for Christmas. There were a few varieties of places to get drinks and food. Not many local food options for lunch and dinner, but I am not a foodie, so I didn't mind the more international choices for food. The pool is spacious and I never had an issue getting chairs at various times throughout the day. I loved that the pool was open late, until 10 pm. The breakfast was great - so many options for different types of food & lots of local food options to try.

I love cebu city its my hometown. Will never get tired. Im on vacation aftr 27yrs being in the US. Been to Cebu Safari, Jpark but i would love to stay here again in NUSTAR when im given a chance before i go back to the states after Sinulog.. Cebu City is BEAUTIFUL. Im proud to be a Cebuana.

Mactan felt poor and overcrowded to us. It is true that we arrived after flooding and typhoons, but I am afraid that the trash is a constant problem here. People live along the sidewalks, sometimes even in cardboard boxes that are often placed literally on piles of garbage. Emaciated dogs roam around, and roosters are tied on short strings. Children beg for money. If you want to go on excursions, you have to travel quite far, yet there are constant traffic jams, so even short distances take an unreasonably long time. Choose other islands.

We came to Cebu just for swimming with sharks.

We came to Cebu just for swimming with sharks. It was a very interesting experience. We spent the rest of the day snorkeling at Sumilon. It was great. However, given shortage of time, 2 nights in Oslob with one day dedicated to swimming seemed just right for our group - we went on to see some more of the Philippines nature.

It is where we can see the Lapu Lapu Shrine and the entrance therein is free. the beach we have visited there is Newtown Beach.. the water there is clean. They have friendly staff and peaceful ambience.

We traveled to the island to dive with thresher sharks and were not disappointed. The sea life and hospitality of the island residents amazed. When traveling to Maya port from the island we took the public fairy. It was easy To navigate. Porters will carry your bags onto the ferry for a small trip.

More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.

Beatiful, green island. Paradise for seafood fans. Fresh, delicious and decent price, sometimes even cheap. If you more into nature than towns and pubs do not miss: Mangrove Park, Nature Park, Lalio's cave, Colina Isla de Bantayan:) Santa Fe - more for food and drinks at night :)

I love discover new places Mabolo ...going between the streets and avenues of the main roads, to discover amazing shops, cafes, bars and restaurants ...make it very much exciting ....just type on google searching for example restaurant near me and follow the map....very easy

Review for Malapascua Island: Perfect for diving (thresher sharks) and snorkeling, otherwise not much to do there. Recommendation - compare prices for fun dives at different dive shops, some are very pricy. The north beach was a disapointment - some smaller sections of the beach are cleaned, others very dirty and smelling like rotten animals. Not much to see in the water while snorkeling there.
