Virly and Javier were very accommodating hosts. We felt very welcome and they took the time to chat with us and explain the local culture and island life. We booked their hotel (gorgeous bamboo finishings throughout) while we were on the ferry and it was one of the best locations we stayed at during our 2-week trip in the Philippines. The only thing I'd indicate for improvement is that it was a little tricky to find - perhaps a signage before the dirt road to the resort would help travellers find their way to this little slice of paradise. Good luck to you both!

My wife and I love Quest Hotel. We had a beautiful time. The staff is amazing! They’re friendly, professional and have amazing smiles. Always eager to help and assists our every need. We love the room. We really had a great room yesterday. I like the idea that we can order food all night and the minibar in the room is a great feature. We enjoyed the TV in the bedroom too. And the complimentary water. Thank you! The pool looks lovely. We will definitely use next stay. We enjoy eating all our meals onsite at the hotel and I enjoy the bar. The location is excellent. I had an excellent stay at Rate Bayfront Hotel Cebu North Reclamation! The staff was extremely professional and attentive throughout my stay, always willing to help with anything I needed. Although I think the breakfast could be a bit better, everything else about this hotel was great. The rooms are super clean and well-maintained, and the food served in the restaurant is delicious. Castle Peak is truly a place for value, comfort, ease, and access! The rooftop view is stunning, especially during at nights, where they boast their rooftop bar with a staff so polite, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast is as sumptuous as it can get. And right across the street is where the ease of comfort kicks in: there's a bank, a spa, sa Korean restaurant, a night club (if you're up for it). Around the corner, you have Landers Superstore. And right beside the hotel property, is a small grocery store that has your basic needs.

Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Love how they cook the omelette during the breakfast buffet. The veggie clear soup as well. Shoutout to the frontdesk officer Kris. Staff are helpful in many way even in suggesting what to do and where to go when in Cebu. The hotel has a nearby 24 hrs convenient store with branded overrun items that you can buy. The location is at the heart of the City. The 2 rooms booked for my family is overlooking the Cebu-Cordova link bridge. Will sure to come back.

There is a lot to see and visit in Cebu City.

There is a lot to see and visit in Cebu City. It appears the city is riding a wave of investment with lots pf construction everywhere. However some of the main roads and streets are very congested and the government will have to come up with a plan soon to fix this problem before the entire network is choked. This traffic problem will deter international visitors. Cebu is a city with lots of scenery and looked after environmental areas.

It's a wonderful hotel that you don't need to leave for your stay. It has everything. The staff are world-class and the food is first class. They surprised us when they found out it was our anniversary with a complimentary bottle of wine.

Woaw....a very busy place. It was super nice to do this. A new check mark on my list. Tons of people, go early, as in early. We left the hotel at 6 and arrived at around 7 already tons of people. We got boat # 189 and there are 200 boats (walk ins) and there are like 100 numbers for online booking. 10 people per boat so image approx. 3000 on that day and they told us it was not so busy. Tourists pay $20.00 and locals$10.00. We rent a GoPro and the video files were not normal MP4 file, so it was a pain to find a way to convert them. All-in-all very fun event.

More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.

I love discover new places Mabolo ...going between the streets and avenues of the main roads, to discover amazing shops, cafes, bars and restaurants ...make it very much exciting ....just type on google searching for example restaurant near me and follow the map....very easy

Review for Malapascua Island: Perfect for diving (thresher sharks) and snorkeling, otherwise not much to do there. Recommendation - compare prices for fun dives at different dive shops, some are very pricy. The north beach was a disapointment - some smaller sections of the beach are cleaned, others very dirty and smelling like rotten animals. Not much to see in the water while snorkeling there.
