The staff of the hotel especially Sheila, she was wonderful. She answered all my questions and organised for transport for us to the bus to get a bus to Oslob. The lady is a gem. When she realised the TV was not working she immediately went to town to pay for subscription and the tv service was back in record time. Breakfast was great too. The hotel itself is lovely simple and warm. I will surely come back given a second chance in Moalboal.

Everything. It's small place but the room is a perfect size for me. The bed is very comfortable. The staff are so polite and very helpful. I love the colorful and cozy vibe. I didn't tried the pool since I ran out of time but it is very inviting. There is Robinson department store beside it. Love this gem.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to book activities and transport with them, they even went out of their way to cook us breakfast at 5am before a tour that we had booked. Location was good, it is better if you rent your own scooter as it is a 10 minute drive to where all of the restaurants are and main strip in Panagsama Beach. Would recommend this hotel!

The owners (Nicky & Reto) and the staff were really friendly! They helped us giving us tips, booking the "island taxis" and even allowed us to grill in the resort small garden. The resort is located in a real calm area a bit north of Santa Fe. The basic breakfast was included but one needed to choose it from a list like other places in the Philippines. The omelette, pancakes and bread (home baked in the pizza oven) were good. We had dinner in the resort restaurant 3 times in 5 days! The food was really tasty! The kids (not only) loved the oven baked pizzas!

My wife and I love Quest Hotel. We had a beautiful time. The staff is amazing! They’re friendly, professional and have amazing smiles. Always eager to help and assists our every need. We love the room. We really had a great room yesterday. I like the idea that we can order food all night and the minibar in the room is a great feature. We enjoyed the TV in the bedroom too. And the complimentary water. Thank you! The pool looks lovely. We will definitely use next stay. We enjoy eating all our meals onsite at the hotel and I enjoy the bar. The location is excellent. We loved our stay, and we love this hotel and will be enjoying our stay at Quest Hotel for many more years to come. Only the best, Benny and Jovelyn

I was in transit and looking for a budget friendly hotel that was close to the Ayala mall and I was very happy to have chosen Red Planet. I work online and the internet was very good. The staff are super friendly - shoutout to the housekeeping staff! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and as someone who does not like air-conditioning, I did love that there was a ceiling fan. There was a 7/11 just outside the hotel and for everything else: shopping, dining, entertainment, the mall was literally just a block away. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely rebook in the future!

Everything was great location ( 5 minute walk to SM City), breakfast, staff I couldn't find (not that I'm looking) any fault. We chose this hotel because it was right across the road to the North Bus Terminal going to Malapascua and we were going to come back here after but unfortunately it was all booked out. Oh and there are also private van to hire at the terminal so it's not just buses.

What a beautiful resort. I travelled here with my Filipina wife and we loved every minute. We rented a beachfront villa with orivate pool - so lovely. The room was huge and just such a lovely place to sleep in. The restaurant and staff were excellent.

Google Maps is your friend.

Google Maps is your friend. During the holidays business schedules change. so some times a Museum might be closed. but lots are walking distance from each other. In my opinion if you are trying to hit everything quickly by taxi, your missing the point of this very old city. There are too many water ways, islands and traffic to be in a hurry. slow down, lots of things are free to look at. Carry small change with you always. it will help at all locations. Be polite buy a water if nothing else.

Mactan felt poor and overcrowded to us. It is true that we arrived after flooding and typhoons, but I am afraid that the trash is a constant problem here. People live along the sidewalks, sometimes even in cardboard boxes that are often placed literally on piles of garbage. Emaciated dogs roam around, and roosters are tied on short strings. Children beg for money. If you want to go on excursions, you have to travel quite far, yet there are constant traffic jams, so even short distances take an unreasonably long time. Choose other islands.

Moalboal is a lively resort, lots of bars and restaurants. Beaches nearby are white sand and accessible. Badian beach a short ride away and less crowded than Moalboal. Popular waterfalls a short trip away. Easy bike hire.

We traveled to the island to dive with thresher sharks and were not disappointed. The sea life and hospitality of the island residents amazed. When traveling to Maya port from the island we took the public fairy. It was easy To navigate. Porters will carry your bags onto the ferry for a small trip.

Beatiful, green island. Paradise for seafood fans. Fresh, delicious and decent price, sometimes even cheap. If you more into nature than towns and pubs do not miss: Mangrove Park, Nature Park, Lalio's cave, Colina Isla de Bantayan:) Santa Fe - more for food and drinks at night :)

More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.

Review for Malapascua Island: Perfect for diving (thresher sharks) and snorkeling, otherwise not much to do there. Recommendation - compare prices for fun dives at different dive shops, some are very pricy. The north beach was a disapointment - some smaller sections of the beach are cleaned, others very dirty and smelling like rotten animals. Not much to see in the water while snorkeling there.

Badian is a more vibrant town compared to another closer town. I loved the fruits/veggies markets. Lots of Filipino food eateries. Lots of traditional sweets and treats but full of sugar. My sister and I also loved the Badian fish markets, lovely fresh catch every day.
