Such a lovely hotel with amazing service and food. We stayed for 4 nights and could not have been happier and better cared for. Great room and bed, super breakfast, a beautiful garden and pool. Just 5 minutes by mototaxi from the center. The owner is an amazing person, highly recommend this place!

Staff is incredible profissional and friendly: Avil and all the other chicos are great! They will help you with restaurant, laundry and practical stuff recommendation. They genuinely are happy to help. The hotel is very clean, safe, breakfast included and centrally located just 3 blocks from main square. Rooms are very spacious, queen bed and most importantly with AC. Pharmacies and the supermarket Portales are just 1 block away. They are very flexible with the bookings and, in my case, due to a flight delayed, they allowed us to change the dates of the booking in a very attentive way.

Bora hotel is amazing!!! I loved the room, so beautiful, clean and cozy with lots of attention to details.. The shower was the best I had in Iquitos. Breakfast was great with a vast variety of dishes and many options for vegetarians like me. The staff are incredible, so lovely, friendly, polite and always ready to help. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

Our stay was amazing! Fantastic location. But the best part was the staff. They are extremely accommodating and helped us out a lot. Amazing service. The rooms were lovely, exactly what you are looking for. I highly recommend choosing this location to stay in Iquitos. It is worth every penny. - great place to learn about its past glory - freindly people but the local markets as unique as it is, it was quite dirty and disorderly, buit worth a look for understanding - a great springboard for exploring the Amazons. - make sure that you have an A/Ced room on any Amazon tour you sign up for.

Iquitos is a very poor city that does not have much in terms...

Iquitos is a very poor city that does not have much in terms of tourist sites other than being the gateway to the Amazon, which is amazing. We flew in late, left for the Amazon tour early the next day, and then spent 6 hours in Iquitos before heading to the airport. We walked around the plaza and main tourist area but that took an hour or so. To be honest, I don’t think I have witnessed greater poverty, especially by the docks where the boats leave to go on the tours.
