The best part of the stay is undoubtedly Ana, the owner. She is welcoming, friendly, attentive, proactive and kind. She helped me organising my tours and followed up to ensure I was picked up on time and I was happy with the experiences. She was ready with fruit to go when I had an early tour and was kind to offer advice when I had any question about Cusco. The rooms are well kept and hot packs are provided at night when the temperature descends. The location is centric, two small blocks from the main square and surrounded by restaurants and bars. The hotel also arranged pick up from the airport and drop off. It was full service!

The location is the best, 5 minutes from the main square and you are in the city centre. You can find a lot restaurants, coffee places and shops and yet the hotel is very quiet and beautiful. This place was remarkable!!! They updated our stay because my fiance proposed at Machu Picchu and they gave us a phenomenal view of the mountain side. The breakfast was spectacular and it came with our stay. They placed chocolate covered strawberries in the room as well and spoke about the area and what there was to do near by. They also helped us with our train arrangements as well as our tour arrangements of the mountain. Everything was sanitized and cleaned to covid standards and Maria (the Concierge) as well as the rest of the staff were so kind and so amazing. Remarkable

This hotel / monastery is out of this world! Could not rate this place high enough - off the scale! Impeccably clean, impeccable staff - superb views from the gardens! It was quiet, characterful and charming … lots of original features, artifacts and paintings scattered tastefully about the place. Loved my room with a small living room and mezzanine bedroom! Fantastic snow-white sheets and towels, excellent shower and wonderful products provided and replenished when used! Extremely gracious and friendly staff … very attentive and helpful! 12 mins walk to the main plaza … local buses to Cuzco for 7-10 soles! TRULY OUTSTANDING! Am already planning a return trip!

Location was great:close to the train station and bus stop to Machu Picchu, many restaurantes are close by. Staff are very nice and helpful. Has a nice view of a river.

The hotel is beautiful. The charm of the old, with the comfort of the modern rooms. The concierge service was great for the tours and restaurants. Our driver during the transfers was great, as was our guide Hugo! We had an amazing time. The restaurant inside the hotel is great, as well as the one at Monastério (which is also a Belmond across the street). The complimentary mini bar is a great addition and we loved the small surprises/ beauty products in our room. You will see a lot of small details like covers on the water balls or small attentions during the turndown service.

性价比很高的一家酒店。要特别表扬一下早餐服务，我以为早餐是10点前其实是9点，快九点的时候餐厅发现我没去餐厅特意打电话到我的房间，提醒我早餐快结束了，以防我错过。早餐除了炒鸡蛋之外居然还有藜麦炒饭和鸡翅，非常适合中国胃。👍一共在这里住了三晚，每晚都很安静，睡得很好。

We had a very relaxing stay- we had planned for one night, but extended it to two nights as we enjoyed the property so much The rooms/cabins are very large/ Nice bathrooms and beds with patios We ate all of our meals there and enjoyed all of them (I am vegetarian and liked all of my options/ my husband who is not vegetarian also equally enjoyed the meals) They have a few activities each day, we enjoyed a short hike and learned about the local community, plants and birds In the afternoon, they have a nice tea time with small snacks- For planning- it takes 1.5 hours from the airport/ plan a ride in advance- it is about $50 for a couple from Cusco The local area has a few popular tourist places to visit though we did not take advantage of these as we just enjoyed staying there The Sacred Valley was an adjustment in altitude for us (we are from Nebraska) and it was nice to acclimate there, before staying in Cusco and ultimately hiking the Salkantay trail.
