Its only a short 10min walk into the square and it's a little quieter outside. Very comfy bed, best pillows in my 1month stay in Peru. Bathroom great. There is a smart tv you can cast to. Breakfast was standard for Arequipa for the price point. Tip: try and get it without breakfast as you'll end up eating out and getting proper coffee. Staff were really really lovely. If there was a small mini fridge, guests would be tempted to stay longer as having a fridge is really imprudent for longer and 2nights.

The beds were most comfortable we slept in while in Peru. Soft, warm and cozy! The room was spacious and comfortable with a sofa/sitting area and small kitchen. Great for a family. The courtyards were beautiful and a terrific respite from the hustle of Arequipa! The location to the Plaza was perfect--not too far, but not close enough to hear the noise and experience the busyness. Very clean, overall. Staff was very helpful and packed us to-go breakfast for our last day when we left early.

Location - absolutely brilliant. Right in the middle of the historical centre of Arequipa, next to all the restaurants, cafes and attractions. Also great that it was an old, typical Arequipa building with a historical vibe. Moreover, we arrived at 5 am because of travelling via Peru Hop, and the staff were incredibly kind and offered to keep our luggage but ALSO a temporary room to get a few hours of sleep before checking in into our reserved rooms at 2pm. 10+++ We really loved our stay in the hotel and have already recommended it to friends visiting Peru in October. Beautifully designed boutique hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. The multi-course breakfast is delicious and served under trees where you can spot hummingbirds. The food in the restaurant is also very good. Only a short walking distance from Arequipa old town. Amazing views on the surrounding mountains. The hotel cats are very cute. Would 100% stay again.

I had a very comfortable stay here! One of the best hotels I stayed in Peru! The location is great and only few minutes walk to the main attractions in Arequipa and the central square. The room was extremely clean. The mattress and bedding was super comfortable. Nice, spacious bathroom with hot shower and good water pressure. The downstairs lobby had filtered cold or hot water to make tea which was very convenient. The staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly.

Stylish architecture, innovative interior design, elegant decoration and Peruvian contemporary art, all together are creating a stunning location, one of the best boutique hotel we have never seen. The manager Mr Caesar is very professional, extremely kind, helpful and polite. The staff members are great, service is top. Perfectly located into the old city center, Palacio Guaqui is offering a unique value and experience. Best in Arequipa!

The common faciltitiea and the backyard are just amazing, especially if you have a day off in Arequipa and want to just relax. It has a great vibe, the staff is nice, there are sunbeds availableamd you can have have drinks/food at the bar. Out of all the hotels we staid in Peru - this one we enjoyed the most. It is also a mix of a hostel and hotel vibe, which I very much appreciate as it allows you to meet other people

The property was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The receptionist (Jose) was exceptional - he was very kind, greeted us warmly every day and offered us great recommendations during our stay. Location perfect. Overall, Our stay at Hotel Los Tambos Boutique was fantastic, so much so that we didn’t look elsewhere for accommodation when booking accommodation on our return to Arequipa.

Superb location of Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. Convenience stores with empanadas, bakery and basic food just at the entrance to the hotel. Great and helpful staff at reception, cleaning people and in the restaurant on the rooftop. This restaurant, serving breakfasts and dinners directly overlooking Plaza de Armas was the main reason why we have chosen Katari Hotel and the views were really stunning.

This is a luxury hostel compared to the other hostels in Arequipa -- modern, spacious, quiet, always clean, an excellent free brekkie, a good self-catering kitchen, and 1 min from the Cathedral. It's mostly younger couples and a few backpackers in the female dorms, so don't expect parties or pub crawls. And while most rooms are not ensuite, the shared baths are very nice.

Comfortable hotel close to the Plaza de Armas! The terrace upstairs is great with a beautiful view of the volcanos—they serve a good breakfast there in the mornings. They very kindly let us stay in our room after check out because they had some flexibility with their next guests arriving late, which was so nice of them. I would definitely recommend staying here while in Arequipa!

The hotel is very well located. The rooms are nice and the staff is very polite and helpful. The best thing about the hotel for me was that they provide breakfast boxes for guests who need to leave very early. In Arequipa, most tours start very early and before the hotel breakfast. It's nice to take these breakfast boxes with you and eat them on the way. Nice and practical.

We enjoyed breakfast every morning in this sweet colonial style hotel. The location of the hotel was within a short walking distance of the center of Arequipa. The staff was phenomenal and helpful with every aspect of our trip from securing transportation for us to suggesting tours and restaurants to dine in. The garden was lovely and a great place to relax and get some sun.

We arrived in Arequipa around 6:00 AM, and the staff kindly allowed us to have breakfast. The hotel isn’t the most budget-friendly in Arequipa, but the room was very clean, and the bed was the best of our entire trip to Peru—super large and comfortable. Highly recommended for couples looking to spend a short stay in Arequipa and rest after long city travels.

I had a great stay at Misti Hostel B&B. The location is excellent and is very close to the city center. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hostel also has a lot of outside areas and is super clean and well taken care of. And also and excellent breakfast. I would stay here again when in Arequipa.

Lovely rooms with plenty of space and a large smart TV! Perfect after a long bus to Arequipa. They also let us check in early after our night bus (for a charge). Breakfast was basic but nice. Good location in a quiet area, just 10 minute walk from the main square Also, great shower in the room, hot and powerful, one of the best we've had in Peru!

The hotel is amazing set in 18th century building with nice art and well decorated. Staff were amazing and always ready to help. Breakfast is amazing and rooms and beds ate top class. All areas of the hotel are very clean . We were so happy with hotel we extended our stay with 5 additional days in Arequipa

Location, Location, and Location. This Hotel is well located in the center of the city. close to all the attractions, and Restaurants. Another plus is the Breakfast. Definitely will stay here in my next visit to Arequipa-Peru.

Great location, great price for laundry, and Gonzalo can organize tours around Arequipa for half the price you see online. The kitchen is kind of outdoors but it’s one of the nicer kitchens we’ve seen in Peru for this price.
