Beautiful location, Wonderful restaurant, very well appointed rooms - comfortable & modern but warm with leather chairs and excellent extras (bottles in the room that could be filled at the bar with local wine or beer). It felt luxurious and was luxurious for a very reasonable price. The staff was really pleasant and helpful. The restaurant food was amazing. We had dinner one night and it was fantastic, built around fresh local ingredients it was excellently cooked, presented and amazing. In fact it was better than the dinner the following night at the highly touted restaurant on the waterfront in town. A really wonderful place. If you stay make sure you eat often at the restaurant!

So quiet and right in the center. Very beautiful hotel with many things I've seen the first time in the room :) Best what I liked - you return back to the hotel room and you wash your hands immediately. You don't need to touch with unwashed hand any handle, anything. Very spacious room and very comfortable bed. Separate toilet-room and shower-room. I love how NZ and this hotel is for saving nature recourses. Also you can download an app and you can lock/unlock your room, choose light, temperature, find many other things in the app. Loved that. Good luck, guys!

Choose this hotel for its not central location. It is much more quiet than in the center. Had to make 15 minutes walks, but we enjoyed the process every time. Better to walk, not drive. Sometimes it is hard to find a parking place in the center.

Queenstown is beautiful and there is plenty to do.

Queenstown is beautiful and there is plenty to do. We enjoyed some great walks and the drive to Glenorchy is beautiful. The town was s very busy and parking can be difficult but we were able to walk everywhere. The Cow still has the best pizzas. Breakfast on the beach at the Bathhouse Pavilion was great.

Queenstown is like a beautiful swiss village in the heart of stunning natural beauty including pristine alpine lakes, several good ski slopes and world class hiking trails. It has a real international feel with travellers and workers from around the world. There is a great range of accomodation and activities here for all tastes. The only downside is food and accommodation is quite expensive, especially for a family. Even the price of groceries is exorbitant. Coming from Melbourne we found it hard to find a reasonable priced meal out. The quality of food is hit and miss. Some places look great but the food is lacking. The best food in queenstown is at FergBurger and FergBakery as well as Erik's Fish and Chips. Would highly recommend NZone Skydiving, Lighthorse Adventures (horseriding at Glenorchy) and the Ben Lomond Hiking trail.
