I slept really well, it exceeded my expectations. I arrived after midnight and was made to feel very welcome. The bed was super comfortable, the bed linens were wonderful. I was in a room with 4 people and the bathroom was very clean. I recommend it!

Loved absolutely everything, from the well thought out design to the comfortable bed. The view from the bathtubs and even the ability to Bluetooth your own music through the room. We enjoyed the continental breakfast in a beautiful room .We liked the feeling of "home" because you can have some fruit and some coffee or tea any time you like.I enjoyed the jigsaw puzzle on the table and the fireplace in the lounge for a rainy day!And we foundthat Lucas and Florencia were very nice and efficient hosts!

- The location is very central. Very close to Hagley Park - The staff was very accomodationg. Requested a ground floor room and had a free upgrade. - The one-bedroom appartmenr we got have everything. Fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary things you need to cook. Toaster, kettle, big pots and pans and very sharp knifes. - The kitchen's air ventilation was so strong it sucked most of the steam out and hardly had smells from cooking. - The air pressure was marvelous! Had no issue with hot or cold water - The toilet and bathroom was great. Even got a heater switch in the toilet to keep you warm. Hairdryer, plenty of cleaning products and towels - Cleaners and houskeeeping came everyday - Had the most awesome stays of 5 nights there! Couldn't have been anywhere else. Will definitely rebook whenever we are in Christchurch again - Have laundry facility if you need it. 4$ each load for washing machine and another 4$ for dryer. Washing powder is free - Plenty of onsite car park

Staff was excellent ! It was public holidays for the whole of the time we stayed there with no room services, but we worked together with the staff to sort out. We had a very comfortable apartment with kitchenette, living, dining, and sleeping area with on suite bathroom. It was spacious, had a balcony and all necessities one needs. Parking was easy and had good spaces.

The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk from the city centre and easy access to so many places of interest! The room was very comfortable and quiet! I tended to eat out for meals as there a large choice of places to eat within walking distance…the Riverside Market and restaurants along Oxford Terrace provided lots of places to eat!

We always love our trips to Christchurch, regularly going to watch cricket at Hagley Oval - a special and unique cricket pitch. But the City has many other options; for arts and culture as well as sport, and a diverse selection of places to eat. I've visited many times and have never been disappointed in terms of what's on offer.

Gorgeous alpine area with lovely day walks. The township area is very small but good as a place to do a few walks. We did the 13km, 6 hrs Bealey Spur walk about 13km drive from the township. We stopped at the hut and had a picnic on the lawn area under some trees) Incredible views over the snow capped mountains and valley with every type of vegetation along the way. Tiring but rewarding!! Lots of washed out tracks meant you needed to negotiate stones and a bit of wet areas . Rated as Medium , leave 5 hrs if you want to really enjoy the views and have a rest and lunch at the top. We are fit middle aged walkers- add an extra 1.5 hrs to go to the very top of the spur. One track in and out so you can’t get lost. Lots of shady areas and breezes.

Methven is a little gem of a town set in stunning...

Methven is a little gem of a town set in stunning surroundings with plenty on offer in both summer and winter. The Opuke thermal pools are a must do and have previously done the hot air ballooning which is a definite highlight of the area. There's a good selection of eating options for both day and night. We ate at Baileys Irish pub and loved the food. Methven is a great option for a weekend getaway from Christchurch without having to go too far to enjoy some R&R.

Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close...

Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close to great scenery for drives and many sporting activities including Mt Hutt Ski Fields plus others. Arthur's Pass is a fabulous drive, Rakaia Gorge is beautiful, the drive to Coleridge Power Station, at the back of Mt Hutt is very scenic. The town of Methven is not far away. And there is so much more to see. Springfield is a fabulous base for so much to do and see!

On our way back home to Queenstown, my husband was so tired...

On our way back home to Queenstown, my husband was so tired so we decided to do a last minute booking, was only one room left and we were lucky to get it. The property manager was so kind and very helpful, room was great all we needed a great bed and easy location to drive out. Just what we needed, definitely will return and i would telll a freind and freinds. Thank you Guys.

Luxurious and welcoming.

Luxurious and welcoming. The restaurant at Terrace Downs was exceptional. Highly recommend the Mt Cook Salmon main. Extensive wine selection and great service. Would love to have stayed longer as there is so many exciting activities to choose from.

I really like kaiapoi and I would like to stay there but...

I really like kaiapoi and I would like to stay there but would definitely stay in another motel I found everyone friendly and found some good Cafés at night I were at the speedway at Woodfordglen that was the reason I stayed in kaiapoi because it was close to the speedway track.

We chose Darfield because we were doing some research nearby. Darfield is perfectly located to find agricultural supplies and outdoor clothing which we needed. Darfield, just 35km from Christchurch, links all routes also to.the south and west and north. Like many south island small towns, Darfield has a sense of civic pride and is easy to navigate around or through.
