The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

The team was very helpful and the facilities were excellent. Very convenient location to get the bus up to the mountain each day. The owner even droppped my ski boots to me at the airport after they were left in storage! Thanks for a lovely stay, we'll be back next year!

The lodge has beautiful mountain view. The staff were friendly. We met with the owner when we were having breakfast. She is so friendly. We only stayed for 2 nights. Wish we stayed there longer. Breakfast was delicious. I requested a small of salad on my breakfast and the chef added in. Thank you so much , we really enjoyed our stay.

With being a 58 year old lady staying myself I was so apprehensive about staying in a Youth Hostel type accommodation. I shouldn’t have worried. This was a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. The accommodation was perfect and had everything that you need. Clean bed, towels. I stayed in the room with the mezzanine bed reached by ladders which wasn’t a problem & a very comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend to anyone & look forward to staying again. Ps. The breakfast was a total bonus with everything you could need for a continental breakfast.

What an absolute lovely place to stay for our Wedding. Alana was absolutely warming on arrival. We had an alpine view which actually had a view of the lake also. It had absolutely everything we needed and could have stayed for a month. The fire was gorgeous on the one cold morning we had and the beds were dreamy. We stayed with family for our wedding amongst 2 apartments and worked very well. Getting ready for our big day in this beautiful space was amazing. I feel like we will be back for an anniversary next year.

walking distance to the town center and lakeside, so we can just park the car hassle free and then walk to the gondola etc. staff are extremely helpful and friendly. upon arrival we realized we need separate bathrooms and they tried the best to upgrade on the following day. special thanks to Saula here (sorry if i remember the name wrongly)

We’ve stayed here twice now, 1st time when we got married in Queenstown and 2nd for our anniversary. Love the fact that it is a complete apartment with full use kitchen and laundry. Location/views are spectacular. Fireplace is a lovely added luxury.

The staff is extremely polite and friendly. The room is clean and large. With this price, I would say this should be the biggest room you can find in Queenstown. And this is close to the town center, just take a 10-min walk.

Queenstown is beautiful and there is plenty to do.

Queenstown is beautiful and there is plenty to do. We enjoyed some great walks and the drive to Glenorchy is beautiful. The town was s very busy and parking can be difficult but we were able to walk everywhere. The Cow still has the best pizzas. Breakfast on the beach at the Bathhouse Pavilion was great.

This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park. It is worth hunting out the less popular tracks such as Juday Track and Sugarloaf Pass as wellas the popular multi-day hikes: Greenstone, Caples, Routeburn and Rees- Dart, all of which are great but busy.

Kingston is only a short trip to Queenstown but is a small village with so much to see and do, Golf, Kinston Flyer train and the lake for boating without the all the people of Queenstown. Kingston has a bar and cafe at the train station and a shop for all your needs, great place for a stopover before or after visiting Queenstown district

It was close to the lake but about a 15 minute drive into Queenstown city centre so not really ideal if you plan on hitting the clubs constantly. You definitely need a car, it’s about $45 one way for an Uber. It was brilliant for taking nice like walks along the lake and chilling, reading etc.

Queenstown is beautiful small town by the lake with great views and food services. I wished I have planned more time at Queenstown to explore the beautiful sites around in day trips. 2 days was not enough, maybe a week of so. If you like nature, you will love Queenstown!

Glenorchy is out of this world. Stunning.

Glenorchy is out of this world. Stunning. The road trip there is overwhelming and there are so many fabulous hikes. The wee village has a great hotel with really nice food and vegetarian friendly, same with Mrs Woolly's General Store and good coffee.

Queenstown is like a beautiful swiss village in the heart of stunning natural beauty including pristine alpine lakes, several good ski slopes and world class hiking trails. It has a real international feel with travellers and workers from around the world. There is a great range of accomodation and activities here for all tastes. The only downside is food and accommodation is quite expensive, especially for a family. Even the price of groceries is exorbitant. Coming from Melbourne we found it hard to find a reasonable priced meal out. The quality of food is hit and miss. Some places look great but the food is lacking. The best food in queenstown is at FergBurger and FergBakery as well as Erik's Fish and Chips. Would highly recommend NZone Skydiving, Lighthorse Adventures (horseriding at Glenorchy) and the Ben Lomond Hiking trail.

Small town. Great general store.

Small town. Great general store. Cafe kitchens dont open till 12 so its just coffee n cabinet food till then. Epic views and good walks to do. Ate at Mr Glen's Taphouse - great coffee and cabinet food. Recommend walk around boardwalk and lagoon. Need a 4WD if going to Paradise - river crossings.
