Haumoana was so incredibly comfortable and I was able to fully relax here, even during my short visit. I would have gladly stayed a few extra days! It's so obvious the hosts have travelled a lot - all the little touches are present.

I can’t praise this place enough! Amazing location - in the owner’s garden but perfectly private. The cottage itself was spacious, clean and super comfy, but there were so many lovely touches including a table and chairs on the deck outside with blankets for the chill; a barista style coffee-maker; comfy chairs and table in the bedroom; hot water bottles; lovely soft towels; a welcome pack of sweets, milk, coffee, sugar, cheese and biscuits; a bird feeding station by the deck, at which we watched Tui, blackbirds and sparrows during our stay with a pair of binoculars provided. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and a perfect chill break after three weeks of travelling.

Our stay in a charming rural cottage was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a picturesque landscape, the cottage offered the perfect blend of tranquility and local charm. The decor, Dale’s extra touches (the breakfast, cookies!) and we loved watching a movie or two in the evening. Also, Dale was incredibly kind, taking us to the beach and our bus. Would highly recommend staying here!!

This tiny home at the back of the host's property is beautiful and wonderfully designed. It's quaint and ocean themed, with multiple extras included to help make the stay the best it could be. E.g. washing machine, large shower with great pressure, kitchen with breakfast and treats, helpful brochures and nicknacks, cute details, netflix, privacy, and blockout blinds. Though we didn't go to the beach, the place is literally at the end of street where it's only a stone's throw to the sand. The host also recommended The Front Room for pub-like dinner which was outstanding!
