Impeccable hotel! The room is very well designed, and brilliant clean. Bed is comfortable with high quality linens. The Bathroom is also very clean, shower cabin is huge and very convenient. Breakfast is nice: several hot dishes that change every day. Definitely the best small hotel breakfast I've ever had. The location is perfect! Right in the middle of Thamel, but on a quiet side street, which makes for a good calm sleep :) The internet is fast. I have compared it to Radisson Kathmandu and Kailash is muuch faster! Last but not least: the staff! Very friendly, smiling and willing to help but absolutely not intrusive. A rare combination! The receptionists, the restaurant guys, the manager. Everybody! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will stay again when I return to Kathmandu.

Premises, hotel and rooms. Located right in the middle of the Thamel area. Restaurants bars and shops around. The area is quite lively but the hotel is quiet. The room is large, beautifully decorated with a large balcony, the bed is comfortable. Cleaning staff are nice and always have a smile on their faces 🙂 Restaurant: breakfast is enough to choose from with wonderful waiting staff (unfortunately don't know their names) who are helpful and very pleasant in their behavior which makes the breakfast taste even better. The atmosphere at KGH is extremely relaxing. The garden is a wonderful place to sit and chill out or have dinner. The staff were exemplary in all aspects. Their service was top notch. The buffet breakfast had a different selection each morning, which was a nice change from most complimentary meals. Being set back from the busy road, the hotel is generally much quieter than others located within the city. It is also located within the ring road so you can be picked up at your hotel for any excursions that you book.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, I enjoyed talking to them all and learning from the gurus too. I loved all the activities from meditation to pottery. The food was incredible, some of the best I’ve ever had especially the Biryani and Dahl Makhani The facilities were great. Huge rooms done really nicely. I felt relaxed and looked after the entire time I was there and was sad to leave!

In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

I am an architect working in Heritage Preservation and have worked in the past in Nepal so I can say that Bhaktapur is the best preserved city in Nepal and an outstanding example of a community living their traditions and therefore aware of their own culture identity. It is a city who h teaches everyone how to respect and preserve our own cultural heritage, to be seen at least one in the life!

Value for money ,service oriented , the Bhutanese delicacy was amazing , very traditional and authentic touch. Front office team was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and all amenities placed tightly. The location is perfect close to Boudha stupa just walking distance and very peaceful and serene. Security staff very welcoming and professional. Very eager to come back to this property , I would highly recommend this hotel .

People in Kathmandu are friendly and helpful. The weather was fair for this time of year. A lot to see and take in. Shopping, eating all the very delicious Mo Mo soaking in Jhol. All the Temples, Shrines, breathtaking mountains views, and of course Mount Everest.

Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

Durbar Square is mind blowing.

Durbar Square is mind blowing. Good to visit after dark too for different atmosphere. I visited a few of the Pokhari around the old city. The river Hanumante was truly shocking with amount of rubbish and putridity. So close to UNESCO which was surprising.
