Very clean, comfortable and friendly accommodation - spacious rooms with large bathroom, hot water and A/C. Breakfast was delicious and very generous portion (eggs, potatoes and roti). The staff at the hotel were very friendly, hospital and helped us with storing our luggage and booking our onward travel to Kathmandu. The property is not located in the main town, so it’s very peaceful and relaxed. There is a restaurant on site serving a range of food, including traditional Nepalese food. Highly recommend and great value!

We liked everything, it was definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Nepal! All the staff are extremely kind and always willing to help. They picked us up from the bus station, greeted us with a welcome drink and helped us book our bus back to Kathmandu. A special mention goes to Milan who was a exceptional, always very friendly and attentive and he made sure we didn’t need to worry about anything, thank you :) The area is very quiet and relaxing, with a nice view on the mustard field and a few minutes walk to the center. They also have a super nice pool and a beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy the sun.

We really fell in love with this place. The calmth of the garden and the lovely patio gave us the time to rest completely. As well did we do a jungle tour with them and we had an amazing day. We saw reinos, tigers, crocodiles. The guides made sure to bring us to the good spots and they also provided food, snacks and some juice for us. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was every morning on its best.

Bishnu was a great and warm host! We had a fun safari with jeep and by walking. We saw many Rhinos! The other guide Raj was also an amazing guide! There were great food options and Bishnu was very helpful. All in all an amazing stay, we would definitely recommend and would love to come again.

Everything! especially the gardens it was like a paradise, full of the most colourful flowers I have seen and birdsong, lovely clean room with outside balcony looking straight into the garden, food was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for the owner Kumar who went out and got me a bottle shower gel free of charge and took me to the Safari pick up and my next hotel free of charge, an exceptional place run by an exceptional man.

I keep saying this in Nepal, tho the service at Hotel National Park is second to none. You are made to feel like part of the family on every occasion. Brother man Manager has the best communication and kept in contact with me the whole way from Pokhara as l was riding. the road conditions and dust along with 40+ degrees made it a challenging ride tho on my arrival everything was superb. Brother came out to greet me and help me with my bags and even ran up to my room and put the AC on so when l entered l felt so relaxed. quick check in without any fuss along with a couple of cold beers and l was settled in. l would highly recommend everyone to book your tours through the hotel. The pricing and service is fantastic plus our guide took us where other tourists don’t go which was awesome. l would highly recommend the 2 big rooms on the top floors which have AC, fridge and great views and are spacious. the food at Hotel NP is really really good. Great location and walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. Cant recommend this place enough. thank you to Brother and all the family for a very memorable time.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but if you’re looking to share some truly special moments with a warm and welcoming Nepali family, this is the perfect place. Sit around the table, watch the kids do their homework, ask for a little local music demo (they might even let you join in!). They’ll happily welcome you into their daily life. Price quality is pretty good the owner was very friendly and welcoming and helps me arranging the safari tours to Chitwan National Park. The pick up from the bus station was one of the best that you can used especially arriving from a long bus journey. The rooms were perfect plenty of space. Although I only got a fan room, believe me it is more satisfying, airconditioning wasn’t necessary. The wifi works very well inside the room so for bloggers looking for a perfect internet connection this is the place to be. The bathroom is huge as well with good shower and hot water. There’s a kettle inside the room, hangers and one free bottle of water. If you want the room to be clean up just left the key at the reception and when you come back everything is cleaned.

An excellent and welcoming hotel in the Chitwan National Park area. Excellent hotel restaurant with daily live entertainment, hotel staff exceptionally helpful and always smiling and dedicated. We enjoyed the rich breakfast, vegetables, fruit and if the breakfast was not buffet style, it was possible to order directly with the chef's recommendation. Quiet outdoor seating by the pool. The insulation from the jungle heat was fantastic. Accommodation in cabins with all comfort and cleanliness. Everything down to the last detail. Foods generally very reasonably priced, more expensive alcohol is generally a matter of Nepal. The air conditioning is perfect and necessary, the toilet is clean, daily cleaning, the possibility to make coffee, fast internet as a matter of course. English as a language of communication is a matter of course. The Barahi chain of hotels is very similar and the services are exactly the same, at a high level. There is a swimming pool, a bar and places to rest and sunbathe. A 24/7 restaurant is the norm, security at the entrance always greets you and directs you if you ask for advice. Safari is a chapter unto itself. Breakfast in the jungle is inimitable. We saw a rhino right across the river from the hotel. We will definitely return to the hotel next year and can only recommend it. The price level is excellent, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. A clear choice for us.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed in Nepal, and it was like an oasis of tranquility for us. The rooms are fantastic (we had two rooms facing the swimming pool), the beds so comfortable that we couldn't believe it, the food in the restaurant superb, the swimming pool very welcoming, the staff very kind, no noise, good wifi... We were a bit disappointed with the National Park, but just to stay in this hotel for a few nights it was worth the detour.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The rooms are clean, good size, with a/c!! The staff are just so incredibly helpful- I booked this place last minute and they welcomed me with open arms! They helped me organise a jungle walk and keep safari, found a place for me to do laundry, provided fresh bottles of water every day, breakfast is delicious! Really highly recommend CVR!

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

It was my second visit to Chitwan.

It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
