Close to the ski station, with fantastic views over the lake and mountains. The apartment room was well equipped and very comfortable. A good variety for dinner and breakfast.
Featuring mountain views, Røldalstunet Overnatting offers accommodation with patio, around 500 metres from Røldal Stave Church.

The cabin had enough space for all of us (4 adults and a 4 years old boy), a great kitchen, and well-kept toilets with a super-duper shower. Some of the lights weren't working but, that is something that can be fixed easily. If you are an explorer, this is the perfect place to stay on your way to Telemark. Around the town there are paths to go for a long/short trip, the mountains are a spectacle to see and the landscapes are amazing!.

We loved it! Waking up to that view is amazing, apartment is more spacious than we thought, ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We chose it over Odda as it was more affordable and less busy, there's a bus from Oslo that stops a few meters away. Would stay again :)

We simply loved with 3 friend there over 3 nights, Igvall not sure if am writing his name right was just the nicest host ever, never too busy to explain something to you, Great cottage, the sauna is right next to a cold ice river perfect for a hot clod therapy. DEFO RECOMMEND

Røldal is a small and a beautiful town.
Røldal is a small and a beautiful town. Nice walk in the nature also the views are fantastic. We did not explore the local food there because we are vegetarian. But tried coffee and Bakari. It was nice.
You can see some good waterfall and steep mountains around the town and good water bodies. We did not swim but I think there are some places you can go swimming also saw some people kayaking.
Folgefonna glacier is approximately one and half hour drive from the town. Given a chance you must go. It is just awesome.
