We've been coming to the Thief for over a decade and it never disappoints. In recent years being welcomed with a dog in tow we've come to appreciate even more that the hotel really is a home away from home. Having stayed in hundreds of five star hotels all over the world we've seen all levels of service, but there's a consistency and a calmness and something so relaxed about the Thief which is really unique and feels so welcoming. Never any issues with noise, always clean, staff are always super friendly yet professional. We'll keep coming back here as long as the hotel is in business, which I hope is forever!

We arrived at the hotel being busy due to the visit of the Italian President. As all rooms were booked out we were offered an amazing upgrade of a wonderful suite. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. The rooftop bar was lovely and had a good view. Proximity to the train station made it easy to catch the fast train from the airport and walk from the station. The hotel was also close to the foreshore and shopping area.

Everything about this hotel is perfect, except maybe the size of the room, which is not important when you are traveling alone and for business. Location is like 1 minute from the Parliament. Breakfast was really nice, continental, but also with the Norwegian touch. I love it. I felt very much safe.
