The rooms were absolutely beautiful and spacious, with a modern design that provided the perfect relaxation after a long day in the mountains. The sauna included in the stay was an amazing treat—an ideal way to unwind and recharge after an active day outdoors.
The breakfast was truly made with love, and we enjoyed it even more in your cozy restaurant, where the crackling fireplace in the corner created such a hyggelig atmosphere. It was the perfect start to the day.
The reception was incredibly friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed from the very first moment. Not to mention the cool chef, who brought creativity and warmth to every dish and also a smile to your face.

SingaporeLooking at the map, it seems like the property is off a bridge somewhere but once I was there, it is actually very near to the centre of Svolvær. We drove and there is parking outside the hotel but it is paid parking (not expensive). The hotel was lovely. You'll be able to look out at the mountains from almost every area of the hotel. The breakfast view was my favourite! Breakfast spread was great too. I got to make my own waffles at the waffle station. There's also a coffee/tea/hot water machine which you can use at any time of the day for free. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.

FinlandWe got an upgrade to a seaview room, as they were not too full. Room is not too big, but bed was comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was nicely set up and you could enjoy it outside. Location is a bit outside Henningsvær on the previous island, but only short walking distance away.

It is a beautiful place to stay. You can tell they put a lot of love into the apartments. We stayed in an apartment in the second row. While you don't get the amazing lake view from your window, its only a few steps out of the door to look out from the dock. It was very warm and comfortable inside the cabins, it had everything we needed and it was very clean.
The breakfast was delicious, though there was a smaller spread on our second day because of the low number of guests.
Next to the reception there are 2 chargers for electric vehicles, more then enough in the winter but spots are limited if all cabins are full in the summer.
Overall its an amazing place to spend your time, the staff is very accommodating and having northern lights both nights we stayed here made everything even more perfect.

Where to start. We have saw one document long time a go about this place at it has been my dream to visit this extremely unique spot. It was more then I expected. You feel you are in soul of nature. Fantastic,friendly and super nice staff give us straight big welcome,we order pizza and taste was super. We stayed room with jacuzzi and sauna, evening sunset melt our hearts. We walked to the beach, climbed up to mountain. This place is something everyone should experience once in a life time. Experience what we will never forget! This place you feel like home thanks to people who created this together

This was hands down the best place we stayed during our entire trip to Norway. The aesthetic of the house is simply stunning – minimal, warm, and perfectly in harmony with the surrounding nature. The view is breathtaking, like something out of a postcard, and we couldn't get enough of it.
Everything, from the amenities to the small thoughtful details, was beyond expectations. The comfort, the atmosphere, the design – it all came together to create a truly unforgettable experience.
We only wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely incredible in every way – highly recommended!

I had a fantastic time in my cabin. The facilities at the campsite were in close proximity, always clean and tidy and fully equipped for cooking. The campsite is super close to a lovely hiking trial and in walking distance to the shop in Kabelvag. I did not have a car, but I managed very well without. The wifi was great in the cabin so I was able to even get some work done. If you are looking for a couple days of solitude and peace I can highly recommend this place!

Arrived early before 2.00pm , allowed to check-in . Room in the ground floor as requested . clean and cosy with bath room is rand clean . Breakfast is delicious , free flow of coffee , tea and snacks in the afternoon . Central location , 5 mins walk to bus terminal . Supermarket and restaurants also in walking distance . Recommended .

This hotel was so cozy and clean and within easy walking distance to everything in Henningsvaer. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices of everything you could want and so nicely displayed. We could sit out on the deck eating breakfast surrounded by the water and boats.

Pretty city in an amazing environment.
Pretty city in an amazing environment. We stayed here on a Sunday so everything was unfortunately closed besides the bar and turist shops.
I would have loved to explore more both in and around the city !

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely town in the Lofoten Islands with a beautiful beach nearby (Rorvika). Great cafes and restaurants especially Klatrekafeen. Would like to have done some hiking nearby but we ran out of time and it was actually too hot!

The central location of Leknes on the Lofoten Islands was great for exploring the south and north. Shopping and dining were within walking distance of the apartment. I had a tasty fish and chips at the Diggs restaurant. The Bunpass grocery store had a lot to offer, and they had the best cinnamon rolls!

Please do not go to Scandinavia Hotel, the manager of the place is simply not human, did not compromise on a small mistake we made in the booking, they do not answer the phones and there was not a single person at the reception, simply a terrible experience.

Ballstad is a pituresque fishing village surronded by mountains. It's located right in the center of Lofoten which makes it a great base for those we want to explore the archipelago. Buksnes church is charming and a must see.
Also it's near to Leknes where you can find a lot of stores and supermarkets.
Ballstad will have a special place in our hearts as it was where we saw the most fantastic Aurora show which we were expecting for so long.

Beautiful drive off the main E10 road with mountains and fall colors. The most beautiful quaint village on the water. The cafe on site, the art gallery, the historical buildings, the restaurant, the fishing boats, the sauna…all of it was amazing and lovely.

A very dreamy and picturesque town.
A very dreamy and picturesque town. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding. This is the place. There is a small pier to walk on. The cinnamon roll in the village bakery is delish! Having a car makes staying here convenient as we drove to different places for food and exploration.

Such an incredible place!
Such an incredible place! I visited in off season and two out of three days had good enough weather to explore. The third day had the most intense wind I have experienced, so it wasn’t safe to explore. I was happy with this experience but depending on what you want you may want to visit in summer, so that the trails aren’t so muddy. Even when they are, there is plenty of scenic routes to walk in between the towns!

Good facilities, the guy at the Tourist Info was very good, but it felt a little... functional? There's so many great places to stay that maybe look twice? Henningsvaer has a more attractive character, for example.
