Everything. This is on the top of the list of places I need to come back to. The surroundings and the tranquility are bliss for all senses.
The small cabin has all the basics. The beds were very comfy - haven’t slept so well for a long time. Having to walk a couple of steps outside to get to the bathroom and to get water added to the nostalgia - this was what cabins were like in my childhood. However, here you get a modern toilet and a shower in a nice warm bathroom. We did not have that luxury.
The small museum was very interesting. The host was nice and inviting and he has a lot of knowledge of the past and present in the area.
There are possibilities of renting kayaks- and canoes not far from the property. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night this time. But we most certainly will be back to explore the lake and the surroundings.
