I had an incredible experience here, would highly recommend! Everyone is extremely kind and helpful, the food is delicious and fresh, there are comfortable common areas with lots of couches and tables, my room was quite large with a comfortable bed and a gorgeous view out the window. You could not ask for a better location for winter activities--there are lots of trails for skiing, you can go over the mountains to the woods to cross-country ski, and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. During my stay, I was able to attend the Ice Music festival in an igloo just in front of the hotel, and see ice sculptures by a local artist along the trails. I could not have asked for a better experience. Just make sure to plan ahead for a car or taxi from Ål since the buses don't reach that far up the mountain. I can't recommend it enough, I had such a beautiful stay and hope that I can come back!

What I liked the most about the apartment was the peace and comfort. Everything was clean, stylishly decorated, and fully equipped with all the essentials. It is a comfortable house, there was everything we needed. We slept very well in those comfy beds. It is located not too far from the main road so for us it was ideal, we were on the way from Oslo to Bergen. Good communication with the owner.
