It is a lovely little village and the hotel is absolutely cute. At the time we didn't have a chance to try the restaurant as it was always full. Staff was very kind, the breakfast was tiny, but you could definitely start the day with it. :)

Beautiful historic building. Large well equipped room, with the most comfortable large bed. We had the chef's menu which was incredible - amazing taste and texture combinations. Although the principle courses were fairly small, there were so many extra little plates that were included that we came away satisfyingly full. For the quality of the food, it was also really good value. The Somellier was very knowledgeable and helpful. Staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast also met the high standards set at dinner - various small plates. Highly recommended.

The spa was great and not very busy, and it was also nice you had acces to the subtropical swimming pool with slides on the park!

The hotel is located in the city, yet I could enjoy the tranquility and the breakfast was fulfilling. I love that they also gave free coffee & tea so I could drink it in my room. I arrived a little late that night, but they were still kind enough to open the door for me :) The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. If I had to choose a hotel in Zutphen, I would definitely choose the Hampshire Hotel - 's Gravenhof Zutphen again.

The staff was very kind and friendly. Breakfast had many varieties compared to the other Dutch hotels. The parking space was quite big and free. It was just situated in the city centre and everything was within walking distance. I will come back for the next trip. The stay was far better than the other chain hotels in the Netherlands.

The grounds are stunning, and so is the decor of the hotel. The breakfast is sumptuous! The hotel room was a very pleasing shape, as it was not square or rectangular, but had an interesting round window alcove with shutters. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had two choices of shower head. I also liked that scattered within the hotel were little seating areas and also very pretty garden areas with decorative statues and such. All in all an excellent hotel, very good value for money.

And very helpful, we loved the dinner and the free breakfast was excellent. Will stay there again and enjoy it even more. The area is always very beautiful by the way, very close to Germany and loaded with fun things to do.

This is a lovely hotel which was an old sanitorium and the separate buildings have been converted into large comfortable rooms with good showers. The buffet dinner was great value and very good. Sitting outside by the fountain was wonderful.
