The staff always introducing themselves and asking how we were doing during the day made the atmosphere at the hotel super comfortable. This was most definitely the place in all of our vacation in Nicaragua where we met the kindest people, and we will miss the hard-working staff in both the hotel and restaurant and lot <3

United KingdomA wonderful relaxing place. We stayed in basic room which was good but they very plush rooms also. Enjoyed stay. Great WiFi, and A/C. Incredible view with the sound of crashing waves on the shore while relaxing in the hammock..The family incredibly nice and helpful great breakfast. Could of stayed there a few days. Afew Resturants near by. We nearly never booked because of one the poor reviews. I asked and it was explained. - clearly a weird guest who got wrong end of stick.

CanadaOur hosts were fabulous! Friendly, accommodating, helpful with anything we asked. Went above and beyond with fresh and nutritious breakfast and offered to make dinner one night. Extra beach towel provided. Called for taxis' when needed. Room was very clean and air conditioned. Shampoo and soap provided. Smelled very clean and inviting! Common areas were inviting and welcoming. Definitely would recommend staying here...Virginia will make you feel welcome and comfortable!!

This is an absolute gem, if traveling to LCI this is the place to stay, yes, it is more expensive than the others, but all the amenities, access to the sea, and superb rooms make it worth it! I specifically loved how they organized the trip back and forth to the airport on BCI.

Little Corn is fantastic.
Little Corn is fantastic. The diving is easy and fun, and we saw so much beautiful sea life, including a hammerhead shark! You can easily walk the entire island, and everyone is incredibly friendly. There are a couple of great bars in the village that get busy and really fun in the evenings. There are no cars or motorized vehicles of any kind, and often, no electricity - which we LOVED. It's a true Caribbean experience, so pack a pair of shorts and some flip-flops. Leave your blow dryer at home. There are two luxury resorts on the island, but lots of fantastic places to stay that are more basic. We can't wait to go back. One warning: like all islands, the windward side gets a lot of trash on the beach. Sadly, it all comes from the ocean. Our advice? Pick a beach and clean it up while you are there!

I was only on the Big Island for an overnight stay.
I was only on the Big Island for an overnight stay. I took a long walk and had dinner at the Sea Breeze Restaurant which was delicious and filling and very affordable.
I would have stayed longer, perhaps moving to a different hostel, but the Ferry to Bluefields (the mainland) leaves twice a week (Thurs. And Sunday) and I didn't want to miss it.

Big Corn Island is very interesting, people do not stay long but after a week you discover new things. We only found out the bakery a few days before leaving. There are several food options but we liked Relax Restaurant the best. Spekitos is good too but when they are busy the waiting time is very long, we waited 1 hour once. Taxi rides are 20 colones no matter where you go so make your journey worthwhile. Taxis are shared which is lovely to get to know the locals. There are a few larger supermarkets where you can stock up on fruits and veggies. The smaller shops (Pulperias) have only the basics, which include delicious cornbread.

Such a cool and unique off-the-beaten-path experience! My only complaint is the boat ride to and from the island, but I am terrified of small boats, so that is a me-problem. I highly recommend coming to Little Corn if you are an adventurist traveler seeking a very different and cool experience!

Make sure to spend some time at the beach of the west side of Big Corn Island as well, as we actually liked them better than what we've seen from Little Corn. Little Corn is absolutely great for eating out.

Little Corn Island is a beautiful and peaceful place in the Caribbean. The beaches are clean and the water is clear and blue. Otto Beach is one of the best spots to visit. The island is small, with friendly locals and a relaxing atmosphere. You can enjoy snorkeling, diving, and watching amazing sunsets. It's a perfect place to get away and relax.
