We really got lucky finding this gorgeous hotel in Nicaragua. We stayed for two nights over Christmas and had the best time here. This is an exceptional family run business with Chris being the most attentive Front-of-House owner. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt completely spoilt. So much so, we didn’t want to leave! A special mention also to the chef who was rustling up the most incredible breakfasts and the most most amazing Christmas Eve special dinner (I’m sure it was about 10 courses)! We had a beautiful room, a view to die for - and can’t recommend this enough.

For the price its a luxury experience siutated close to the beach. The staff is super friendly and helped us with all of our requests! The food, including breakfast, was also good! I highly recommend this place if you want luxury at good price! Also close drive to the very popular surf beach of playa maderas. Hoghly recommend to eat at Doña chilo right down the road with the sweetest lady!

Finally a hotel in Nicaragua that was quiet and relaxing. no noise of music. You can really decompress. The beach was just meters away from my small cottage. You can hear the waves while falling asleep. Other guests behaved civil and there was no heavy drinking or partying. Totally recommended to travelers that are for a relaxing experience where your privacy and tranquility are your main goals.

The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

The location was good because you can get to the beach in a couple of minutes, and ait is also near to the hill with the Jesucristto de la misericordia. The place hahce a really good swimmingpool that we loved. The staff was excellent, they helped us a lot. But the very best part was the food, breackfasts were awesome! I'd definitebly come back here soon.

Absolutely amazing! The most lovely host family who were so friendly and help us with every we needed includong tours, transportation and rental of ATV. The best food is cooked on the spot, and the most amazing sunrise and sunset view of the volcano and banana plantation can be seen from the roof. Room comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

A great town for a vacation. Lots of cafes and shops.

A great town for a vacation. Lots of cafes and shops. Great views of the ocean and sunset.The downsides are a lot of trash and stray dogs. Swimming is prohibited at the city beach because of sewage drainage, trash, and stingrays, which can cause serious injury.

Took the ferry from puerto San Jorge annd took about 1 1/2 hour to the island. Beautiful island , incredible sights and amazing natural attractions to visit. Island is very clean and very nice and friendly locals!

The Popoyo/Guasacate area is one of my favorites.

The Popoyo/Guasacate area is one of my favorites. I love the beach and the laid-back vibe of the people. There are several great spots to enjoy the sunset, and plenty of places to eat and relax—like Casitas Pacific for dinner, Kook’s Café for coffee, and Viento Este for pizza. There are also beautiful hotels and cabins around. It’s a casual, relaxed destination perfect for couples, families, or friends.

A lovely little town on Ometepe Island.

A lovely little town on Ometepe Island. The locals were so nice and kind. I enjoyed riding around and just taking in all of the beautiful nature. Playa Mangoes was also a short drive from my hostel. I look forward to returning one day.

Not the most exciting town. Very busy with trade. We have encountered very rude taxi drivers trying to charge us triple of normal fees (we knew taxi prices beforehand). Everyone we spoke to warned us not to walk around in the dark.

Call finca mystica (FM) prior to arrival and have them set up transportation for you. Taxi to and from the ferry terminal then rent scooters or 4 wheelers or horses from FM. We rented 4 wheelers from the ferry terminal and had a long hot journey to and from FM.

Hola is a small crossroad town, if you are traveling for the first time I would strongly recommend stopping in Rivas and buying any food and drinks before heading towards Tola and Hacienda Iguana. It is quite a distance. You can leave your golf clubs the course has fine rentals.Once inside Iguana there is plenty to do. There are restaurants a couple small stores and everything from surfing to horseback riding and of course a very challenging golf course.

The town was nice, the only thing that could be better is the access since part of the road is still not paved yet, but it was in really good condition, I went in a Hyundai Grand i10 2015 Hatchback, and I was able to go to the Ometepe Biological Field Station, El Pital, Ojo de Agua, We also did the Istiam River Kayaking, it was awesome!!!

There's something magical about this little beach community.

There's something magical about this little beach community. The vibe and energy are great- restaurants and bars with excellent food & drink everywhere. Locals and tourists are friendly and helpful. We know a tiny bit of Espanol but were able to communicate with no issues, and English is spoken more prevalently than I had expected. Can't wait to visit again!!

Was a nice quiet island to relax and clime a vulkanisch Mountain when you like. We did a motorcycle tour. Renting one or a scooter is very affordable and the scenery is very nice. Very great food at the lakefront at Julia’s, almost opposite of ecolodge chiponge The Italian restaurant in the village on the walking street, without traffic, was great too , especially the pizza
