They offer a really good package that includes accommodation for 2 nights, a canyon tour and meals. The family were super nice and the place was very clean. Food was typical and traditional but really nice. It’s directly across from the canyon park and the bus stops outside the door. They were also happy to give us a lift in and out of town in the evening to grab beers and use an ATM.

We stayed at Juan's place and he took us on a tour of the canyon. He had been recommended by a friend and his approach exceeded all our expectations. He went out of his way to help with our public transport arrangements to and from the property. It's lovely accommodation with a large bed, good bathroom and in pleasant surroundings. The food, cooked by Juan's partner Nora, was excellent. It was lovely to share the house veranda with the family after a large supper following our canyon trip. There are also friendly dogs, a cat, and contented hens to entertain you! Juan greets everyone he passes and that's a sign of his friendly disposition. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This place has to be one of the best value I have experienced on Booking. Clean, excellent communication and close to everything in Somoto. Sandra and her family are super hosts. Thank you for having us and allowing our dog to be a part of our visit to Somoto.

Fantastic home away from home! Friendly staff (accompanied by the cutest dog in the world, Negrito), delicious breakfast, and rooms are very clean and comfortable. I absolutely recommend it!

Location was perfect! Right in Somoto canyon and the nature is amazing. Breakfast was a super good, a typical Nicaraguan breakfast. The staff was so friendly and took care of us super well!
