This was the holiday of a lifetime. A fantastic experience for all of us (2x 60+ somethings and 2x 20+ somethings). Carla and her entire team without exception were attentive, friendly, and each very interesting in their own individual way. From first impressions (the porter carrying a 25Kg suitcase from the landing boat up the beach to the hotel - on his head!!), through the welcome drink and Carla's very helpful introduction to island life, the food, and happy hour cocktails every day that you can set your watch by ready for the evenings activities along the beach (fire show, lots of excellent food, beach bars), will remain in our memories for a very long time - well at least until we return again!! The beach was a great blend of very clean, and lively enough to be interesting without overcrowding (the two weeks before Europe schools break for summer). So much to do too! We were here 8 nights and were busy right through, snorkelling with turtles, baby shaks (sic), little Nemo's and a whole host of other tropical fish. We were lucky enough to see, on two separate days, turtles come up the beach in front of the hotel to lay 100+ eggs (taken to a local sanctuary for hatching and release), and watch the mothers (Shirley Turts and Lily Shelby) make their way back to the water after dark. Amazing wildlife. A short day trip to Redang island was very worthwhile too - beautiful beaches. The boat boys (GreenBoys next to the hotel) were super helpful and friendly for all our excursions out to sea. We made a great number of ongoing social media friends on this trip. We used the spa on several occasions - June's massages were terrific after a long day in the sun and sea.

the staff starting from Farah who greeted us with warmth then the scuba team Sam Ali and ikram were the best anyone starting their scuba diving and lastly Mat for Snorkeling loved the entire experience would highly recommend all. the food at Ombark is excellent lastly want to thank mazz for convincing us that the weather would be good during our stay and we would be able to do all activities 🤙

The hotel is very nicely postitioned next to the jetty on Long Beach. The rooms are also done up nicely and very makes you feel like you are in a premium resort. Service by the staff was excellent as well. The dive shop is great too, the divemasters are all very friendly and experienced. Would definitely recommend to stay and dive here.

Right on the best part of the beach near the jetty. One of the only places on the beach that serves alcohol and has a good happy hour plus free drinks . Lovely breakfast and fab staff . We would like to make a special mention for Khayrun the waiter, Wei and Miss Ong on the desk. But all the staff were amazing.

Friendly and courteous service staff and very professional spa masseurs。 The rooms are spacious and comfortable and views face the sea. The cleaning service was also great。 Very good service with valet luggage。

Nice view from the restaurant, nice staffs, had fun feeding squirrels ... enjoyed snorkeling trip especially at the sharks point ... luckily no rain during our snorkeling trip..

We loved everything with this place! Very helpful staff, we could ask anything and they would help us! Suhaila even got us a birthday cake from the mainland.

Perfect location. Basic accomodation but for good value. Super nice staff. Lizzard's company included outside the building.

Very nice place for a vacation. The staff was nice and helpful. I have nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.
