The staff were amazing and so helpful and welcoming from the moment we stepped it. Everything is so personal and comfortable. The breakfast is cooked by the owner every morning. The cocktails are amazing. The rooms are incredible. Everything is so intentional in the hotel. But It really is the staff that make it though, they are all so kind and helpful and friendly. A Tropical Jewel

Langkawi, as known as the jewel of Kedah, is the largest island in an archipelagio of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea. And a gem it certainly is, with lush scenery ranging from rice fields and rainforests to leaning palms on tropical beaches.

Of course, it’s the beaches that draw most visitors. Housing a good number of Langkawi hotels, Patai Cenang has the longest and most developed beach, and good nightlife. Neighbouring Pantai Tengah is more peaceful and a popular choice for families.

Langkawi Airport in the west is closest to Padang Matsirat. Just around the coast is the more secluded Burau Bay. The Telaga Tujuh waterfalls are nearby, and just north of its curving beach is the Langkawi Cable Car which travels into the heart of the rainforest, where the Sky Bridge provides amazing views.

Another sleepy beach is the northern Jalan Datai, home to a crocodile park. To the west Tanjung Rhu has one of the most scenic beaches, with bulbous, offshore islands reminiscent of many an action movie.

On the south of this duty-free island is the capital Kuah, whose most recognisable feature is the large eagle statue overlooking its harbour towards the islands beyond. This town has the largest concentration of apartments, motels and hotels in Langkawi on Booking.com.

The Resort is located on the beach front - a vast and spacious area sporting two big swimming pools and a lovely beach. It is quite remote from what can be called a city center, so we have spent most of our time within the resort. There are several places where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. About breakfast_ there are two restaurants to choose from- one in the main building one by the beach. Both are amazing and the food is delicious. As a matter of fact one does not need to choose_ you can enjoy both. There is nothing like a glass of sparkling wine enjoyed in the morning with fresh fruit and good coffee. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are big and comfortable. Great place for vacation.

Living in a suite in the middle of the rainforest, with the cicadas chirping, was a surreal experience indeed. We were isolated and away from the bustle and yet not alone. The staff was just a message away to attend to all our needs. Lee, Shahriman, Prem made us feel completely at home. The property is very conveniently located too, being close to where all the action is. Cenang beach was close by. The only problem we faced as Indians was, we missed Indian food. Maybe some dishes could be added to cater to Indian tastes. Barring that it was an excellent experience.

We loved how central it was to everything and directly on the beach. Loads of restaurants just walking distance away including the food truck night market. The rooms were great. When the AC in one of the rooms stopped working, they were able to give us another room, at night. Luckily it wasn't full that particular night.

Pantai Cenang is a really happening place with lots of things to see and buy and lovely eating places as well. Just be prepared during the rainy season as the rain can come suddenly but it doesn't stay long so just find shelter somewhere and you'll be fine.

Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

You have the cable cars and surrounding area that takes a day to Explore and the crocodile park which is really good. Water falls and beaches. I would recommend staying at least 3 nights at this end of the island and 3 at the opposite end in kuha. Make sure to do the mangrove tour with a private boat haggle price.

Beautiful beach and mangroves. We did hte Mangrove ride and island hopping. Not easy to get around, its remote and on the northern most tip of the island, should have own vehicle. Not many restaurants around the area, only resorts.

Kuah was nice, the locals were very friendly and we found some restaurants that served great food, however, our accommodation could have been better. There were things in the apartment that did not work and we had a booking for 5 adults but there were only two coffee cups, four chairs. Lock on the balcony door didn't work and neither did the lock on bedroom 1 window. Also, it took a couple of days for the wi-fi to work correctly.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.
