The hotel is beautiful, well equipped and only few steps from the beach. There is a small, cozy garden where the meals are served. You can enjoy a free coffee or tea at any time. Our room was cleaned every day and there was a bottle of water waiting for us.
Apart from the hotel itself, what deserves a great appreciation is the staff. They were looking after us literally from our first to our last step on the island. The personnel is responsive and always there for you to help. On our last evening the hotel organized a fantastic surprise that we will never forget. We were feeling really welcomed and taken care of which we have never experienced to this extend in any other hotel we visited. Special thanks to Waruna, who pampered our room with great attention to details and took care of us during breakfasts.

Everyone was super helpful and nice all the time. Snorkeling gear and a orientation snorkeling was included and we booked one of the many excursions they offer which was amazing too. Can absolutely recommend this place if you come to mahibadhoo.

Czech RepublicMy stay was absolutely amazing. The villa has a private beach and breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The owner is a great person who do his best to make sure guests are comfortable and will help with everything, especially arranging transfers to and from the airport. One of the staff will pick you up at the port and take you to the villa. You can communicate with the owner via WhatsApp or in person as he stops by the villa at least once a day. The facilities of the villa are very good, nice clean rooms, housekeeping with change of towels and beach towels whenever you ask for it. Basically no mosquitoes in my room. Cold drinking water available for free 24/7. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared by fantastic chefs. I highly recommend this accommodation, it felt like home.

The beaches at Six Senses Laamu are some of the most beautiful we have ever seen, and we were impressed with the hotel's commitment to sustainability and care for marine life and animals. It was heartwarming to see the efforts being made to protect the environment and preserve the natural beauty of the island.
The food at Six Senses Laamu was exceptional, and we especially loved the breakfast with its broad range of choices. The waffles were a particular highlight, and we looked forward to them every morning.

It was a perfect family vacation thanks to the lovely staff, services, facilities and the island.
We appreciated the kindness the Ayada staff showed especially towards our little child. Always gentle and helpful with a smile in their face and no matter if butler, waiter, director, kitchen chef, masseur, transportation staff.
The service was always impeccable with regards to our necessities: getting organized a microwave to heat up our child's food, getting food to our room, cleaning up the room, getting some dessert to our room. Our Butler Zak was available 24/7 and very helpful for everything we needed. We even received an upgrade for our stay with a swimming pool and direct access to the beach. When asking why, they said: "Because we love you!"
Food quality and variety was good as well as the SPA massage we received. The offering of sport variety was amazing from football to volleyball to tennis and kayak.
We especially enjoyed our daily bike tours on the island and the infinite swimming pool with beach view at Zero Degree.
The island and its nature had a lot to offer: wonderfull beach, crystal water, baby sharks, crabs, bats.
An unforgettable experience we will always keep it in our heart and will regress one day for sure.

We spent our honeymoon at Kuramathi Maldives and stayed in a Thundi Villa with Pool – it was absolutely perfect. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered incredible views. The person who took care of our room was always smiling and decorated it beautifully every day, which made us feel really special.
The whole staff was extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone made sure we had the best time and felt comfortable at all times.
The island itself is breathtaking – truly a tropical paradise. The reef is stunning, and we had the chance to swim alongside colorful fish every day, which was an unforgettable experience.
The speedboat transfer from the airport took about an hour and was smooth and enjoyable, with amazing views along the way.
We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon destination. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic and luxurious escape!

What an amazing experience! Jacuzzi Water Villa was great, the level of attention to details is something I have never experienced in other hotels. From spotlights to observe marine life at night to jars of water to clean your feet at each room entrance, everything was carefully thought. The view, bed, porch, shower, jacuzzi were all amazing. Food was delicious with a LOT of different options. Lunch was provided before check-in and after check-out which was pretty generous. A hot shower is provided after check-out if you want to enjoy the sea/pool before going back to the airport. Staff is extremelly kind and helpful, always with a smile. I really don't have much to say. It is an expensive splurge but very much worth it!

Resort is beautiful. We were very pleased with the service. All employees are very kind and friendly. They gave us helpful information. I will especially mention: Ibrahim, who welcomed us, Rachel and Zakir from the restaurant, Zeina from coffee shop, barbecue chef...Also everything was very clean. Food is tasty, and they have a variety of dishes. There are a lot of activities that you can enjoy on the island.

Ermie as the head butler was fantastic, very responsive on requests and personally supported proposal "white lies". Rajesh and Dewi from the restaurant remembers each guests' preferences and were attentive to our needs. Housekeeping was consistent and kept room clean, had turn down service. An interesting place. Mostly pleasant people. Uneven pavements, loads of motorbikes parked make walking difficult too. Somewhat improved over the last few years. Currently (November 2025) many public facilities closed and sitting down anywhere is clearly not encouraged.

There are plenty of water activities and options to choose...
There are plenty of water activities and options to choose from. The people are very friendly, and I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. The only downside is that evenings are very quiet, with limited nightlife or entertainment.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The sand bank and bikini beach were beautiful. Nice that US dollars are accepted but annoying that the $ needs to be pristine. Request speed boat for whale shark excursion. Nice variety of restaurants.

Ukulhas has a wonderful house reef next to Bikini beach which is beautiful and plenty of places to sit in the beach in the sun or shade all day. Great access to snorkeling and other water excursions. Other than that, not much to the island. Walked around the whole island and really sad to see how unkept the public areas are. Other than bikini beach and house reef, not much to do.

I enjoyed pretty much everything.
I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. The food was excellent, the staff extremely supportive and I think that RIU have a near perfect arrangement for the 'all inclusive' experience.
