Staff of the hotel is excellent! Both the staff at the reception, cleaning of the room and kitchen are extremely helpful and friendly. Food (buffet style) was included in our booking and every time we looked forward to this. You won’t be disappointed booking this accommodation!

What surprised us the most was the quality of the food: very good! Prices are, especially for the Maldives, very reasonable and you get better food than at some resorts. (Most mains were not above 15$).
And I want to highlight the staff, who welcomed us very friendly and made this a great stay.

I want to thank the hotel team for their warm welcome. They have their own speedboat that takes you from the airport to the island. At the start of the island, an electric bus picks you up and brings you directly to the hotel. What follows is a delightful surprise and a seamless check-in to a cozy room with panoramic windows, refreshing air conditioning, and a stunning view.

My partner and I had the most incredible holiday at Villa Náutica resort. We stayed for eight nights and enjoyed the most wonderful hospitality from all of the staff at the resort.
Sayuru was our host who gave us a warm and friendly welcoming, showing us around the resort and making himself available throughout our stay. I was celebrating my 40th birthday and Sayuru was excellent in ensuring that our room was decorated for my arrival. Sayuru facilitated a beautiful romantic meal on the beach. A wonderful waiter- his name I forget however works in Press and Pot throughout the day- provided us with professional and personal hospitality. Thank you for this.
We stayed int he beautiful deluxe beach front villa with private pool and direct access to the gorgeous beach. The hardworking men keeping the beach clean and clear worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was pristine- thank you. Our villa was absolutely gorgeous and was cleaned to the highest standard. The housekeeping team are a credit to Villa Náutica.
We spent our last few night in a deluxe one bedroom water villa. It was WOW! Decorated and designed in line with the outstanding setting. We loved the private pool and jacuzzi.
The food was excellent. We ate in the main restaurant, The Lagoon and The Hook restaurant. We received the warmest and best service from Bishee, Diksha and Sanum Prit (apologies for spelling of names). Thank you for personalising our stay. You are a credit to the team.
We visited the Crow’s Nest bar daily. The young man who works there for the majority of the week was wonderful! He provided friendly and prompt service. We are grateful for his service.
All of the team at Villa Náutica are friendly, deliver the best service and take pride in their work and appearance. Thank you for making my stay 40th truly memorable.

What is there not to like about Kandima?
The staff, in particular Sarah, Anoof, and Azeez were all amazing! They went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable during our anniversary trip!
We were greeted right from entry at the jetty, and check in was smooth sailing, despite some hiccups with the arrangement of the seaplane, which was later addressed by their management, and 'corrected' by ensuring that we did not have the same issue when flying out of the island.
Now to our actual stay.. The room was ALWAYS clean, the staff waited for us to leave, and would go in and make sure it's comfortable and clean for us everytime we got back to the villa. The villa itself was well designed with an amazing bed. The view from the water villa was *chef's kiss*. The water around us was gorgeous, the wind was refreshing, and the sun wash everything with a beautiful glow too! Jump off the deck (or slowly walk off the steps), into the beautiful blue and enjoy a nice swin or snorkel to see local wildlife swimming around.
The food options were great too! Plenty of different choices, and a good array of choices for the buffet as well. It's very important to have good food when you're marooned on an island, and Kandima did not disappoint!
There was also plenty to do, since they had shops, different pools, live band performances, and my favourite part: the sea sports center.

Our stay at Ayada Maldives was absolutely amazing. The location is stunning, and everything about the resort was perfect, but what truly made this experience unforgettable was the staff.
Every morning we looked forward to breakfast mainly because of the head chef Tulshi, who always made our mornings special. In the evenings, we couldn’t wait for dinner thanks to the chef at Magu who prepared desserts for us every evening, including his delicious homemade ice cream.
We loved coming back to our room thanks to our wonderful housekeeper Nasrin, who was always kind, helpful, gave us great advice, and enjoyed chatting with us, which made us feel truly at home.
A very special thank you also goes to our butler Rolando, who took excellent care of us and made our stay even more comfortable. This resort is a true paradise, and the people working there are what make it truly exceptional. We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing food. Six different restaurants to choose from. Fushi restaurant offers a buffet with different selection every day. I highly recommend to book half board. You will save a lot.
Plenty of available water activities. Scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, dolphin tours, etc.
Nice kids club with lots of activities. Outside playground and water castle. Cooking classes. Rockclimbing wall. Karaoke. Game room.
You have bicycles assigned to your room. We were riding the bicycles every day around the island. You just can't can't get enough of the nature.
The whole island just feels so quiet. Most of the time we hardly saw any people during the day. It almost felt like we rented the whole island.

Beautiful island , amazing Sea life we saw an abundance of fish ,sharks , a beautiful turtle and a group of eagle rays all from
Snorkelling off the jetty.. food is fabulous the dining room Haruge overlooks the sea there are other restaurant choices we ate in reef and it was delicious . We had a lovely room just steps from the beach . A point to note the top part of the island has a more modern feel while the area around the main reception is more Maldivian .. both are charming in their own way and may be something to bear in mind when booking rooms

The resort is fantastic, the staff is extraordinary friendly and they did everything so we could be able to have an incredible stay in paradise. We swam with wild dolphins, which was a "once-in-a-lifetime-experience". Our Over-Water-Villa was super nice, we had Eagle Rays and a little reef shark swimming right below it.

An interesting place. Mostly pleasant people.
An interesting place. Mostly pleasant people. Uneven pavements, loads of motorbikes parked make walking difficult too. Somewhat improved over the last few years. Currently (November 2025) many public facilities closed and sitting down anywhere is clearly not encouraged.

Maafushi was a big island.
Maafushi was a big island. I didn't like it because it was all under construction. It was a big construction site. Very big buildings which ruined the whole image of a small exotic island. I didn't feel like I was in the Maldives and it didn't offer me what I imagined. In general, be careful of buyers, they will try to exploit you and sell you expensively.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

Thoddoo is a very interesting Island.
Thoddoo is a very interesting Island. It has very green, lush vegetation and seems to produce fruit and vegetables for the rest of the country. The beaches are simply amazing. Endless white, sandy coral beachfront surrounded by coconut palms and much vegetation. The water is a stunning turquoise with fantastic visibility making snorkeling an absolute treat. Here you can see many, many sea turtles close up and only metres from the beach. A great variety of fish can also be experienced with ease. The main guest beach has an amazing set up with Many showers, bathrooms, tree swings, hammocks and fruit/ ice cream/ snack stalls. An amazing feature is that they set up a massive row of sunbeds on the waters edge around 5 pm to be able to watch the sunset!! A lovely touch. If you want a more isolated beach, just walk north and you will be blessed with amazing virgin beaches with only coconut palms offering shade and not. a sole in sight. The island is small and can be walked around quite easily. Bikes and scooters are easily available for added speed. The centre has a variety of restaurants and shops within easy reach making t a well organized location to relax and enjoy. As with all the Maldivian Islands, there is a massive spate of construction . You will see a building site on every corner. There seems to be a plethora of new Hotels and guest houses coming. This will spoil the beauty and uniqueness of these gorgeous islands and will put the limited infrastructure to the test. With Thoddoo the good thing is that the construction is around the centre and therefore far from the beautiful beaches. Go soon if you want t o go before its too late!!

The sand bank and bikini beach were beautiful. Nice that US dollars are accepted but annoying that the $ needs to be pristine. Request speed boat for whale shark excursion. Nice variety of restaurants.

Ukulhas is not a tourist-friendly island.
Ukulhas is not a tourist-friendly island. Dangerous rip currents near the island have caused multiple drownings which continue to go unaddressed. The food across the island is inedible and prepared by untrained staff. The island is littered with trash and by no means lives up to its claim of an “eco-conscious environment”

I enjoyed pretty much everything.
I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. The food was excellent, the staff extremely supportive and I think that RIU have a near perfect arrangement for the 'all inclusive' experience.
