A big shoutout to Hari. He came to pick us up from the jetty, helped us with our excursions, and even took us around the island to see sting rays and nurse sharks. He truly goes out of his way to make your stay easy and enjoyable.
The Wi-Fi is excellent too. If you are planning to work from here, you will have no issues. Hari also suggests great places to eat based on your budget, which was very helpful.

They clean the room every day and provide fresh towels for the beach. Staff is very kind and supportive. The double bed is big. You have also big wardrobe and fridge which is very useful. They respond on WhatsApp which helps and arrange also the speed boat.
You also have sunbeds you can use for free at the private beach.

Location: perfect since it’s just Infront of bikini beach
Commendation to the following individuals:
1. Angelica-she was very detailed in answering my queries prior to arrival.
2. Rizan-he welcomed me with a big smile at the airport.
3. Deepshika-was waiting for us at the jetty port and assisted me in check-in. She is very welcoming!
4. Mr. Manager at the excursion-(sorry I forgot his name) he made sure that I will get the best experience. He offered me reasonable excursion prices and he properly able to manage and arrange smoothly the excursions.
5. Aslam, Raffy and Simatte- these guys are superb! Safety first during our sharks point excursion. Their teamwork is wonderful that made the excursion fun filled and memorable one.
6. Mae- she assisted me when I asked for extension for my stay. She is excellent in providing quality service at the reception. She was able to upgrade my room for my 1-day extension in a room with a sea view.
7. Khrys- her customer relation skills is remarkable. She made sure that I will be able to enjoy Maldives more by recommending places to go after check out.
8. 4 men who’s waving goodbye at the jetty port-sad to leave arena, but I was surprised when the staff who dropped me at the speedboat were waving goodbye to us. The gesture is very appreciated.
9. Drivers- who drives safely and bring us to our destination, thank you so much!
10. Buffet waiters, servers, live cooks- thank you for making sure that the buffet is always full and clean away from flies, crows and cats!
11. Housekeeper of room 3305 and 5502- I never saw you. Thank you for cleaning my room everyday. you guys work behind the scene and you make my stay in the room comfortable.
All of the staff deserve a big THANK YOU for making my first Maldives experience a memorable one. I believe I want to go back to Maldives Bec of staff who effortlessly work from their heart! Thank you soo much!

Absolutely fantastic and flawless! This resort is truly a piece of paradise.
The beaches are breathtaking, with crystal-clear water and soft, white sand. The food was outstanding, offering a great variety of delicious options every day. And the service? Simply top-notch—every staff member was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
We didn’t remember all the names, but honestly, every single person was amazing—always cheerful, helpful, and making sure everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Not only did they fulfill our request regarding the accommodation, but they even surprised us with an upgrade!
One of the small details that made our stay even more magical was the ice cream man on a bicycle, who went around the island twice a day, bringing joy to guests with his fantastic ice cream.
We will definitely be coming back!

We had a great holiday in this beautiful, quiet resort. All the services were professional...the accommodation in the beach villa was even better than we expected. All the staff were friendly. The beach was just a few steps away...1 minute from the villa. We will definitely come back here again.

It is all inclusive hotel, but depends on which inclusivity you choose. Our water villa is amazing, we get to swim every chance we got. We took half board meals, the buffet was delicious. The staff was accomodating and friendly. It was a good relaxing stay for us.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are...
Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
