MaldivesI like the service where the guesthouse ensured we reach them safe from the moment we touched down from airport. They have also either accommodated or provided info to all our request. The staff, February, Dayu and Dewi are very polite and attentive.
Facilities are adequate, afterall we just need a place that is clean and with comfortable bed and aircond to rest.
Food is good. Amaze that the chef seems to be able to prepare the variety and every dish/order without any sloppiness (we didn't get any soggy food nor cold meal). The Aglio Olio is really al dente, that speaks volume. We also had a chance to taste the local curry that is not on the menu.
For outdoor activities, there's the Divers, nearby ClubMed, Bikini Beach etc. There's also bicycle to borrow to ride around the island.
Even when we are not up for outdoor, it's courtyard is beautiful to just chill for reading or chitchat over a drink, overseeing the coast or Four Season hotel, with the pond of KOIs leisuring swimming around.
Still feeling amazed that we can experience Maldives at such affordable price with everything we need being well accommodated.

Absolutely fantastic and flawless! This resort is truly a piece of paradise.
The beaches are breathtaking, with crystal-clear water and soft, white sand. The food was outstanding, offering a great variety of delicious options every day. And the service? Simply top-notch—every staff member was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
We didn’t remember all the names, but honestly, every single person was amazing—always cheerful, helpful, and making sure everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Not only did they fulfill our request regarding the accommodation, but they even surprised us with an upgrade!
One of the small details that made our stay even more magical was the ice cream man on a bicycle, who went around the island twice a day, bringing joy to guests with his fantastic ice cream.
We will definitely be coming back!

All inclusive package is great especially if you like a drink or two. The property is incredible with great beaches and great pools including an adults on pool. The staff are all incredible and very friendly and willing to assist with anything you may need however as everything appears to be thought prior to our arrival, I never needed to ask for anything! A special shout out to Aaish AKA Mr Amazing who made our welcome an amazing experience and sorted us an amazing upgrade for our Honeymoon. He was always interested in what we were doing and always up for a conversation which made the stay even more special than we could have imagined.

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel for our honeymoon. Everything was just perfect. Natural beauty of the island was incredible. We thought that we were in Paradise. We loved the food a lot. We ate in the main restaurant from the buffet and there are very rich options with the fresh seafood every day. House wine is very tasty. Swapan in the main restaurant was very good. He made our meals more delicios. Thank you Swapan! The beaches are of the island are amazing.

A small island so easy to explore. 15 minutes from airport so easy to travel with family esp children. Food is amazing esp the sea food, drinks are great, staff is super friendly & responsive. The colour of the water, the sand and the sky were perfect. The villas were enormous and meant you were happy to be in them all day. There were loads of staff looking to make everything perfect. It was the most relaxing and beautiful place.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are...
Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
