A great hotel for the relatively low price. It is located on a beautiful beach with a coral reef for snorkelling. You can see lots of colourful fish, turtles, rays and sharks there. The hotel's own tours are also great, for example snorkelling with the manta rays. You can also get to know the island life of the locals. The hotel staff are very friendly and help with every question. If you can manage without alcohol on holiday, then this is a great choice. You don't notice the airport.

I had an unforgettable stay at Handhuvaru Maldives. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. I loved cycling through the beautiful palm forest, enjoying fishing excursions, and visiting the private island where I experienced some of the best snorkeling ever. I rate this paradise 11 out of 12 and can’t wait to return soon! ❤️

Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Its location on Dharavandhoo is ideal for exploring the stunning beauty of Baa Atoll, from its pristine beaches to the incredible underwater world of Hanifaru Bay. Bageecha Stay is a shining example of what guesthouses in the Maldives should strive to be. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and unforgettable Maldivian experience. Thank you, Ismael and Seneca, for making my stay so special—I can’t wait to return!

The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. If you have any questions or need anything, you can always reach out to the wonderful team and everybody will be warm and welcoming. Thank you so much, Ismail and Akoo and the whole team for this amazing holiday - it is really appreciated!

The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. We are a same-sex couple that travelled there for our honeymoon .This marvelous property sits on a beautiful island surrounded by an amazing reef. I saw sharks rays and turtles a few meters into the see from our cabin.. The food is great and their all inclusive premium includes activities and a session at the spa (or diving if you are certified). I would go back in heartbeat. The staff is sooo nice they definitely made our stay unforgettable, thanks to Shihus that made sure we were up to day during our stay and tended to our needs, Rai an Swarna and all the staff at booli bar and to Shirsti and Aahil and all the staff at the Raabondhi restaurant

The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash.

The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.

Overall, it’s an excellent place to destress or spend time w families or just a couple retreat! Very organized from the airport in Male to our final destination in the resort and vice versa. It was our first time in Maldives and we immediately felt safe knowing that someone was waiting for us to give us guide and navigate the how’s and do’s.

Says that you get transportation to the island.

Says that you get transportation to the island. We paid for 6 nights and 5 days and got kicked out at 0300 am even though check out was at 1200. They made us leave 12 hours early because the free transfer was NOT free. We then had to sit and sleep in airports all day. They said we could pay an extra $289 per person to get the seaplane or we had to leave at 0300 and robbed us of a full day and have refused to reimburse us. In addition to this, my partner was drugged while staying there and the staff did nothing to help us or accommodate us. I would NOT stay in this place ever again!!!! It reads on their website that seaplane is free to island. They got us way late on the first day, and made us leave 12 hours early on the final day and have refused to comp us for the final day. I would NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend other guests to stay here. Everything was an additional upgraded cost, most activities were cancelled or non existent, or were additional costs. It is also very sad that this place turned out not to be safe since my partner was roofied while staying here and the staff expressed no concern by this.

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.

It's a 50 minute flight by Sea Plane from Male and absolutely worth it. The variety of fish when snorkelling, no bugs whatsoever. Stunning beaches. I would go there again in a heart beat. We did the half day excursion that includes visiting Tsunami Island, Dolphin watching, Snorkelling at a gorgeous Reef and a nice little lunch. Worth it! We also went to the H2O Restaurant (not sure if you can only do that if you stay at the Me & You Maldives Hotel). It's expensive but worth every penny. The food is incredible not to mention the overall experience.

I absolutely would return!

I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. Great chill vibe and overall a fun place to relax and play.
