Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Its location on Dharavandhoo is ideal for exploring the stunning beauty of Baa Atoll, from its pristine beaches to the incredible underwater world of Hanifaru Bay. Bageecha Stay is a shining example of what guesthouses in the Maldives should strive to be. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and unforgettable Maldivian experience. The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. We had such an incredible stay!!! The hotel was clean and the staff was attentive and helpful all the time. We went manta snorkelling most of the time. The beach in front of the hotel is also great to jump and have a swim with the snorkel. Great bed and good breakfast (we even had Maldivian food!!!). We'll come back for sure! Thank you very much for everything ❤️

We spent 10 Days here. Great value for the money. Nice and helpfull staff who takes care of everything you need, clean room, good food, great location, 1 min from the beach, own diving and excursion center.

Everything. From the food to the kindness of the people. The room and the environment are so nice!

Everything. It was clean. It was well located for mostly everyone to get an amazing sea view in the panoramic view windows. I wish it had more indoor communal seating. Like at the reception a sofa or something so if people weren’t eating they can sit there rather than sitting in the dining area with the diners. Or sitting outside by the pool. It doesn’t change my amazing experience, just an idea for more improvement. They made everything work, whatever you’d ask they made it work. I’ve never experienced more hardworking hotel staff.

The location is great. The room was spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Worth for the price, beach is close and beautiful place, great ocean.
