Vakkaru Resort exceeded our expectations. We liked absolutely everything. The island is big enough to never get bored of it. There are beautiful beaches and a flourishing vegetation that makes very pleasant biking around in the internal part. The service exceeded our expectations. Our Buttler, Joy, was absolutely perfect: precise, gentle, always one step further, she assisted us perfectly and resolved any situation. Everyone was extremely competent and so nice with us. The whole island is so clean. We were afraid that our plunge pool villa would have been too small, but it was actually perfect, much bigger than it appears in the pictures. Great attention is given to sustainability in the choice of materials. The private beach in front of it was pure heaven. Snorkelling in front of the villa and in the blue holes was amazing. Breakfast was huge and excellent. Food in general was fantastic, and we are difficult customers as we really love high quality dining and we are very spoiled by Michelin starred restaurants around the world. We particularly loved Lagoon Bar, with its amazing sea food and astonishing views of the ocean. We also loved Isoletta, despite the fact we are Italian and we normally never eat Italian food abroad. But at Isoletta, chef Andrea does a wonderful job: you can find superlative Italian cuisine here, with its classic recipes, sometimes with an original "twist". Not only is Andrea an excellent chef, but he is extremely kind and welcoming. I really appreciated he found the time to teach me some tricks for his "risotto al limone", one of the best risotto I ever had in my life. If you would ever get bored of the beach, snorkelling, and sea, you can relax at the amazing SPA. Or play some board games, there are so many! Or play padel, or tennis, or several water sports. We are already considering to coming back asap.

Aveyla Accommodation & Liquid Salt Divers – A Memorable Stay and Dive Experience My stay at Aveyla Accommodation was fantastic. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The guesthouse has a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to unwind and take in the beauty of the island. Diving with Liquid Salt Divers was the highlight of my trip. The team is professional and knowledgeable, ensuring safe and exciting dives at breathtaking locations. The underwater life is amazing, and both seasoned divers and beginners will find something to love. I enjoyed my experience so much that I hope to return not just as a guest, but as a friend. The warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression, and I truly hope to stay in touch. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay and an unforgettable diving experience, I highly recommend Aveyla and Liquid Salt Divers.

We liked everything. The staff went overboard to please us and make us comfortable. The food was superb, the beach was well maintained and in excellent condition. The corals around the island were thriving much better than when I saw them in 2007. The dive center was very well organized and the trip was very good. The staff were very very well organized and attentive and made sure everything was not left for chance or unclear. They cleaned the rooms twice per day.

From the moment we arrived the whole experience at Reethi was wonderful… superb Maldivian style room right in the beach and an amazing house reef steps from the shore we saw turtles , Wray’s, sharks and so many fish … our 5 th trip to the Maldives and Reethi had the best house reef we have seen . Staff all very helpful nothing too much trouble , food excellent … we will be back !!!

Such a relaxing place and atmosphere. The stuff was superb and in particular our butler Jameel, the food was amazing and the landscape was breathtaking. Our highlight was watching the sunset at the bar and listening to an outstanding live band (two musicians/singers) and the manta ray excursion. We did enjoy a couple of diving sessions. Great team in the ocean stories club!

Everything was perfect. All staff and owner was very frienly and helpful. All food was wonderful, room cleaning everyday, Beach was perfect in front of hotel and you can see incradible beautiful different fishes there. In short, I definitely recommend to everyone this hotel and hope to come back here again as soon as possible. Thank you so much to all L.V.I.S Blancura team.

Overwater villas are excellent, staff is very friendly and super helpful. Food (especially Spice) is very tasty. The island and the surrounding reef is absolutely awesome. Transfer from the airport and arranging the sea plane is very smooth, no headaches, our flight was delayed, they still did everything to make sure we catch the final sea plane of the day.

Everything was perfect and all the staff, from waiters, to the young ladies at the reception, the drivers and the manager himself were genuinely welcoming, kind and helpful! The rooms are very cozy, front beach, amazingly decorated and clean.  The food at the restaurant is delicious and they also offer variety of choice at breakfast every morning!

When you get in the airport, there is someone waiting for you, they help you with your luggage, you check in and receive a fresh coconut. The staffs are really kind and help you with everything you need. The bed is huge and very comfortable, same for the shower area. Very modern and beautiful decoration. I really want to go back.

Friendly stuff, professional service, delicious food, amazing villa - everything clean and looking better than in the pictures (lagoon villa on the water). The resort is very environmentally friendly - haven’t noticed a piece of plastic and the turtle rescue center is a beautiful initiative!

We loved the staff and size of the beach bungalow . Our location 138 was also perfect location for proximity to dive school and privacy Dive school also a great setup and the house reef , whilst motorised coral was incredibly abundant with shark, turtle , parrot fish etc

This is an amazing little island. The quality of wildlife is outstanding. It has a natural beauty and well worth a visit. The villas are well maintained along with many of the facilities. A beautiful place indeed

Island host Lilly is very friendly and helpful all along the stay and we got best view pool villa. staff is very friendly and wecloming.

Beautiful island …. Paradise. Plenty of activities. Yoga twice a day. Staff amazing could not do enough .
