United KingdomI had an exceptional stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail, ensuring that my check-in was smooth and hassle-free.
The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time.
The hotel’s facilities were impressive as well. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning with a wide variety of fresh options.
The location was perfect—conveniently close to the beach but tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. I also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which was provided when I left the hotel.
Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional service, comfort, and amenities made for a truly memorable experience. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

TurkeyImran is an amazing manager! He manages the place like his own and very attentive to every need. Staff was cheerful and attentive all the time as well. To be honest our stay was beyond our expectations 10/10 and if I could give more than 10 I would! A couple of things that the staff did was very heartwarming. Even-though I didn't mention that we came for holidays in Maldives for my mums birthday they've checked the dates and noticed it and prepared a special surprise for us! It was very unexpected and made us feel cozy and happy! The second thing that amazed me is my SD card for the underwater camera didn't work and Imran managed to bring a new one from Male! He organized all our outdoor trips/excursions etc. In short we will be back when we have time for sure. Thanks for everything!!! Darya and Anna

Staff is a definitely a highlight of our stay - eager to help always with a smile on their faces. Food in the hotel restaurant is absolutely delicious.
Go Divers organised scuba diving and snorkelling for hotel guests. Contact them or hotel to find out the weekly trips schedule ,especially if you wanna do whale shark trip, to make sure it’s aligned with your stay because other hotels won’t let you join them.
I highly recommend this accommodation and scuba diving with Go Divers.

Good position, 3 minutes walking from the bikini beach. Staff is fantastic, they pick you up and take care of you luggage, they organize the excursions for you giving you water, food and umbrella for the sun. SloveniaExcellent stay. The host is very responsive and takes care of everything. He helped us with the transfer from the airport and then to the guesthouse. Also helped us book an excursion and was generally always ready to help. They even prepared us warm breakfast on the day of the excursion when we would miss the breakfast at the guesthouse. The guesthouse is lovely, has everything you need. They provide adapters, drinking water, rack to dry clothes, good wifi, you can rent bikes… everything. The breakfast has large portions. Also the location is good, close to the beach and to some restaurants. Our stay at Thoddoo was great!

Our stay at Constace Moofushi exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning it was excellent until the very end of our stay. At first we were complimentary upgraded from water villa to senior water villa which was gorgeous with an amazing view on a sand bank. The villa was very spacious ad comfortable and the view was breathtaking. On many occasions we were observing baby sharks swimming just under our villa. The villa was cleaned at least twice a day. The staff is very professional, they all took amazing care of us during our stay. We were amazed how good the staff is communicating with each other. On our last day they prepared table on the beach and when we get back to the villa my husband wanted to go to the reception to discuss our departure details and ask for a late check out but it was not necessary because there was already letter waiting for us on our bed from Moofushi team with a card for a late check out (free of charge!) and details of our sea plane (latest possible). We were really amazed! The food in Manta and Alizee restaurant (a la carte) and in Totem bar was sooo delicious and always fresh. We traveled with our 2 years old son and he was super happy there as well - loved to swim in the pool and was chasing the small birds which are super cute and can be find everywhere on the island. At the beginning we were wondering if our son will be able to open the door in the villa but the staff proposed a solution to it- they installed additional lock to our doors. Obviously when the doors to the terrace were open we needed to watch him closely :) This place is designed for relax! You don't have to worry about anything. The island is beautiful - it is a paradise. I really recommend a wine tasting as it was such a great experience with baby sharks swimming just right next to the sommelier. The trip was truly incredible! We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time, thanks to every individual who worked at the resort, and everyone who had a part to play in putting our adventure together. From the moment we stepped off the boat, we were greeted by the owner and some of the staff, who couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay, their attention to detail was phenomenal.
The food in every restaurant was lovely, and there was enough to keep any palate satiated throughout their stay, along with a plethora of drinks options, whatever your tipple. The location itself was fantastic, surrounded by a magical reef that was teeming with wildlife, from colourful fishes, to turtles and reef sharks. Travel further afield and you can see manta-rays up close and personal, that one excursion was particularly awesome.
If you want to be active on the island, the gym is adequately stocked with a enough equipment to keep you busy, and you can use the variety of water-sports equipment too, as well as a nice spa facility that offers expensive, but very enjoyable treatments. If you don't want to be so active, your time can be whiled away simply ogling the incredible turquoise waters, and the soft white sand that envelopes the island.
Overall, we hoped that our trip to the Maldives was going to be special, and it exceeded our expectations in every sense, particularly the spell-binding scenery, but also the staff, they were awesome. We enjoyed celebrating our 20th anniversary, and we will no doubt return to celebrate another milestone in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lily Beach Resort, despite encountering some rain during three of our seven days. Our beach villa provided excellent value for money, especially given that we visited during peak season. The service throughout our stay was nothing short of excellent; we truly felt special and well-cared for at all times.
A highlight for us was the Aqua Bar, which offers a delightful adults-only à la carte lunch. Our waiter, Suranga, provided outstanding service, and the selection of food and drinks was impressive. Additionally, the Spirit Bar, located at the reception, featured a fantastic collection of aged whiskeys and French champagnes, all included in our all-inclusive package. Each evening, we enjoyed live entertainment there, creating a lovely atmosphere for relaxation after dinner.
We were also impressed by the buffet restaurant, Lily Maa, which offered themed dinners each night. As avid fish lovers, we particularly appreciated the dedicated "fish market" booth, showcasing an array of fresh fish options to choose from each evening.
The house reef was another highlight of our stay, teeming with vibrant marine life and colorful corals, making for memorable snorkeling experiences.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to General Manager Mr. Laurent Driole for his warm welcome upon our arrival and his respectful attention throughout our visit. We look forward to returning to this exceptional resort in the future!

Veligandu is an extraordinary resort for people looking for a totally peaceful holiday without people shouting, kids screaming around and loud music. It’s truly heaven if you’re looking for silence and complete relaxation. However if you’re someone looking for some partying and/or want to take small kids with you, this is not the most appropriate resort (fortunately).
The best thing about Veligandu is the food. Every single meal is a 10/10, high quality ingredients and carefully prepared meals. It makes Veligandu on par with many fine dining and even Michelin guide restaurants across the world, even beating some of them.
After renovations, the facilities and infrastructure turned out incredible, our ocean villa was out of this world, we couldn’t believe it when we walked in. Truly spectacular.
The staff is super nice, and a special thanks to Nawal which was in charge of our villa and cleaning services. He did a superb job.

We had the most amazing stay at the Amaya Kudah Rah. The whole experience was perfect from start to finish: from arriving at the resort via the beautiful seaplane and the warm welcome from the staff (including complementary massages!), to the well-organised and seamless departure.
We stayed in a Beach Suite and consider it the best of the accommodation options on the island. The water villas are lovely, but the beach suites are gorgeous and we were very impressed with the size of the private pool and the outside deck, which looked out directly over the pristine beach just metres from our terrace.
The whole island is beautiful, even more so than in the pictures. The buffet food was tasty and there was always a lot to choose from.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and would very highly recommend the Amaya Kudah Rah. Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly and making our stay so special!

We had stayed Centara Grand Island Resort for 5 days over the year end and the new year with our family of 4 including an infant & kid.
We enjoyed swimming together with lots of beautiful fishes and leaf sharks in quite transparent sea having lots of corals. In the evening, we could see a beautiful sunset and stars.
All of staffs in the hotel have a great hospitality and service spirits that fully satisfied and enjoyed us until the end.
The water flooting villa and its amenities always had been kept clean and meals served were really wonderful.

A wonderful resort on a beautiful island. We stayed in the Deluxe Overwater Villa, which was luxuriously furnished and equipped. The entrance directly from the terrace to the water was amazing. They cleaned twice every day and refilled the water bottles in the morning. They cook excellently in the restaurant. A large selection of local and Italian cuisine at dinner. Also fish every day. The kitchen staff also took care of our gluten-free diet - they baked gluten-free bread and pastries and prepared gluten-free pasta. Free water served at dinner. Beautiful sandy beaches with a coral reef with fish, turtles and reef sharks. Attentive staff. We recommend it to everyone.

Holiday experience on Sun Island is on the level of perfection I've never experienced before. From the moment of being greeted by the staff in Male to the time of saying goodbye, everything worked like a charm. Luggage logistics, check-in and check-out were all managed perfectly. All encounters with the staff, whether in the restaurants or with housekeeping, were positive experiences, and all our needs were well taken care of. The food in the buffet was great, and even after one week there were new selections to try out. Also the best destination for snorkeling that I've been to.

The staff were amazing! Ameer at the reception was great at getting us checked in and took us to our room. Ramiz our houseman was very helpful in making sure our room was clean and that we had everything we needed. Hammu, Sushil and Piyali were great the dining Hall. Chandana, Dilhan, Madawa and others were always serving drinks with a smile, a joke or recommendations about what to do while at the resort. The ladies at the Spa; Inten, Surat and Santi were all lovely, very pleasant.

I have never been to a more beautiful place than Nika Island. The island itself is put together like a beautiful garden, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is tasty and fresh (the salads are right from the hotel's own garden!), but most of all: the coral reef around the island is ridiculously beautiful! in just one week we saw at the reef's edge (just a minute or two from our water villa) everything from giant fish schools to turtles, sharks and even a manta ray

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

It is a small enough island to walk around.
It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello.
There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food.
There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists.
We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than...
You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways.
Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants.
Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type.
Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out.
Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got.
Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄
The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there

A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

The jetty area offers a fantastic viewpoint for spotting nurse sharks, and the island is ideal for snorkeling with vibrant marine life. It's conveniently located not too far from Male' city, and nearby sandbanks add to the charm. The island also offers exciting excursions and diving trips, making it a perfect destination for adventure and relaxation.
