The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time.
The hotel’s facilities were impressive as well. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning with a wide variety of fresh options.
The location was perfect—conveniently close to the beach but tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. I also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which was provided when I left the hotel.
Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional service, comfort, and amenities made for a truly memorable experience. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

I was also beyond amazed at the cleanliness of the room. I am really picky about cleanliness but I would definitely give that a 10/10. They also happily gave us extra time for check out

Breakfast is huge and certainly caters for a variety of tastes. We also opted for Dinner there also. Again it was varied each evening and very filling. Certainly excellent value for money, beautifully cooked by Noor. The dining area is very pleasant communal area with tea & coffee freely available. There was a real team effort creating a really friendly and welcoming environment with a real effort to ensure that everything that we needed was attended to. Nothing was too much trouble from picking up & dropping off at the ferry to early ‘out of hours breakfasts. Any questions we had Noor knew the answer. A fabulous stay, I would highly recommend! Thank you.

SloveniaExcellent stay. The host is very responsive and takes care of everything. He helped us with the transfer from the airport and then to the guesthouse. Also helped us book an excursion and was generally always ready to help. They even prepared us warm breakfast on the day of the excursion when we would miss the breakfast at the guesthouse. The guesthouse is lovely, has everything you need. They provide adapters, drinking water, rack to dry clothes, good wifi, you can rent bikes… everything. The breakfast has large portions. Also the location is good, close to the beach and to some restaurants. Our stay at Thoddoo was great!

Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning. Some fotos you can see below. It has fruits, tee and coffee, eggs, omelette, nuttela, bread, beacon, coconut with tuna and chapati. You can use the kitchen if you wish to prepare something for kid. We also ordered lunch every day. It included big main dish(rice, noodles or french fries), glass of fresh juice and fruits. There was big fish almost every time. And it was not the same fish everyday. I remember tuna and snapper. Names of other fish I can't remember.
The property has good location - it is one of the nearest to the beach - about 7 minutes by foot. The road to that beach is full of palms and papaya trees, with cats and salamaders and bats. You can rent bikes here in the hotel to make the trip to the beach faster.
The hotel has its territory. It is decorated with plants. You can order any excursions right in the hotel.
The room was cleaned everyday and is treated for ants. It is not recommended to store food outside the fridge. Because the ants will find the food. There was air conditioning in the room. Also you have a table and couple of chairs in the yard right in front of your room.

We returned to Gangehi Island Resort after spending our honeymoon here ten years ago — and honestly, it felt like coming home. Very little has changed, which we mean as a huge compliment. The same peaceful atmosphere, the same warm smiles, the same effortless kindness from everyone on the island.
The resort still keeps its original Maldivian charm — natural, simple, and beautifully laid-back. The tropical vegetation is lush, and the sea is that unreal shade of blue with amazing coral just off the beach. We spotted reef sharks, rays, and even sea turtles while snorkeling.
The weather was a bit mixed during our stay, but that’s part of island life — and the staff made up for it in every way. Giorgio, the General Manager, surprised us with a complimentary upgrade from half board to full board — such a generous touch, thank you!
The restaurant buffet is uncomplicated but always delicious, mostly fish-based, freshly prepared and served with genuine warmth. The dessert corner deserves a special mention — fresh tropical fruits and homemade ice cream every day.
The spa offers excellent massages, and our excursion (even with rough sea) was great fun with beautiful snorkeling spots. The romantic dinner at sunset, with our own waiter and chef, was truly unforgettable — especially the aperitivo at the overwater restaurant.
In short, Gangehi remains an authentic Maldivian gem — friendly, relaxed, and made for pure relaxation. We loved every minute and will surely be back again.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lily Beach Resort, despite encountering some rain during three of our seven days. Our beach villa provided excellent value for money, especially given that we visited during peak season. The service throughout our stay was nothing short of excellent; we truly felt special and well-cared for at all times.
A highlight for us was the Aqua Bar, which offers a delightful adults-only à la carte lunch. Our waiter, Suranga, provided outstanding service, and the selection of food and drinks was impressive. Additionally, the Spirit Bar, located at the reception, featured a fantastic collection of aged whiskeys and French champagnes, all included in our all-inclusive package. Each evening, we enjoyed live entertainment there, creating a lovely atmosphere for relaxation after dinner.
We were also impressed by the buffet restaurant, Lily Maa, which offered themed dinners each night. As avid fish lovers, we particularly appreciated the dedicated "fish market" booth, showcasing an array of fresh fish options to choose from each evening.
The house reef was another highlight of our stay, teeming with vibrant marine life and colorful corals, making for memorable snorkeling experiences.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to General Manager Mr. Laurent Driole for his warm welcome upon our arrival and his respectful attention throughout our visit. We look forward to returning to this exceptional resort in the future!

We spent an incredible week at Constance Moofushi Maldives, and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, Luthi and the entire team made us feel so welcome and cared for — their kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay remarkable.
The Senior Water Villa was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, surrounded by the most stunning turquoise water. We loved how the resort blends seamlessly into nature — it’s luxurious yet respectful of the environment, embracing the beautiful “barefoot chic” philosophy that makes you feel completely relaxed and free.
The food was amazing every single day — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of variety. Whether we were enjoying breakfast by the ocean or a romantic dinner under the stars, every meal was a delight.
What truly sets Moofushi apart is the warmth of its people. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, professional, and passionate about making guests happy.

Wonderful experience! Beautiful beaches and warm water! Sunny most days and sometimes rainy but passes quickly. Many activities to choose from and great food choices also! Great activities at the bar at night also. Great staff and excellent hospitality! Would recommend Villa park Sun Island to everybody!

Hard to find another resort that provides fresh smelling towels at all times :) We’ve extended our stay for 4 more days and experienced both beach villa and water villa.. Both were breathtaking. Hotel is located on a beautiful island - pretty big and green. Villas are big and clean. Food is great in buffet, I don’t see a need to go to a la carte restaurant (though there are few of them as well). Variety of drinks with all inclusive package is also great, nice beer, wine and good cocktails. Sea life in the house reef is amazing - lots of reef sharks, stingrays, Murray eels and much more. Staff is very friendly.

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

Great Island, plenty to do and good snorkelling straight off Villa. Food, people and facilitiies were great - cannot fault. Deluxe water villas were a bit tired and really need a refurbishment - other than that great time in Kuramathi...

It is a small enough island to walk around.
It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello.
There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food.
There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists.
We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than...
You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways.
Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants.
Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type.
Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out.
Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got.
Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

Mathiveri is a small island, with plenty of good quality accommodation and restaurants to choose from. It is one of the quieter Islands that can be accessed by speed boat, but it still offers snorkeling and diving day trips.

We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄
The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there

Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals.
Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.
