The staff is really the shining star of this hotel. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who assisted me on my arrival on May 30th - because he was so exceptional (it wasn't the manager who wasn't there). Either way - exceptional hotel. Gorgeous rooftop with a view of the harbour. Also the unique character of the former Palazzo really shines through. There's a ferry service at the door of the hotel to take you to Valletta which is quite fun. And Birgu itself is charming and historical. I nice change from the more over-touristed pace of Valletta.

The location of the hotel is an extra point! Inside Casa Birmula you discovered a very beautiful architecture. Our room was nicely furnished and comfortable We had all we needed at breakfast And we won't forget the smile and kindness of the staff😊

Lovely apartment in the centre of Birgu! Perfect for exploring the three cities and Valetta. Right beside Birgus main square and close to ferry and water taxis. We loved spending the day in Valetta and coming home to the more relaxed neighbourhood of Birgu. Apartment is very spacious and was spotless on arrival. Some of the decor and furnishings are dated but we didn't mind as it had everything we needed and was very comfortable to stay in. Would recommend to anyone!

Wonderfull location: just a 2 minute walk to the ferry that takes you straight to valetta. Also just a 15 minute drive with a bolt (taxi) to other great cities such as silema, st-julians and Marsaxlokk (st peterspool). Good restaurants nearby within 5 minutes walking. Maria is a very friendly en caregiving person. She gave us good tips on what to do and how. Plus she gave us coffee every morning :). The pool on top was a bit small but it had a great view that reached valetta. There was almost no-one using it so it had great privacy. Big shower, clean toilets, a room that was big enough (with a frigde), a working tv and airco! (room 2) Thank you for the staying! very enjoyable

We absolutely loved the warm, homely feel of the property. Unlike many places that can feel bare and impersonal, this one was thoughtfully decorated with charming details that made it feel welcoming and full of life. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches in the kitchen, like the milk and little bites that were provided. These small but meaningful gestures added an extra layer of care and hospitality, making our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. Even though we are from Malta, staying here gave us a wonderful holiday feeling. The property’s location in the heart of Birgu made it even more special. Being surrounded by the rich history, picturesque streets, and vibrant atmosphere of this stunning town allowed us to see our own country from a fresh perspective. It truly felt like a getaway, offering the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and location. It was an experience we’ll cherish and would highly recommend!

Fantastic location with fabulous staff. We arrived late though we had all the information for an easy entrance and a good night sleep prior to checking in the next day. Shania and Kanal were excellent in the kitchen for brekky and so eager to chat about Malta and things to do. The location is in a quiet district with plenty of great restaurants with a short and spectacular ferry ride into Valletta, a great way to start and finish each day, or there is a bus stop straight into town just down the road. Met Tony the owner one night upstairs overlooking the harbour and shared a drink and some laughs. Easy pick up and drop off by Bolt from international airport late at night and early morning. Very safe to walk around day and night, really added great value to our Malta experience.
