Before arrival Valerie the owner assisted us with all our transfers ensuring everything ran smoothly. Upon arrival our bags were carried up for us and we were greeted with warm smiles and deliciously cold welcome drinks. Treated like rock stars. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our bed was beautifully decorated with flowers and a heart shaped towel for our honeymoon. There were even hot showers (not that you need them) but after a week of cold showers it was very pleasant. The food was amazing and overall very good value for money. The Happy Komba team went above and beyond for us. I see why Valerie named it Happy Komba lodge as the staff are all very happy with big smiles always. We will definitely be back.

The owners were exceptional people - good hosts, very attentive. No scamming and very clear on how the stay works and what you should see. We have had really poor experiences in Nosy Be with hotels, however this one saved the day. Clean pool, modern rooms, AC, decent breakfast, fast wifi and attentive hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely loved the location, Nosy Faly truly radiates peace and tranquility. Miavaka Lodge is the perfect place to unwind, whether you’re with family, friends, or a loved one. The food was, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in Madagascar...fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. There’s a wide range of activities on offer, and Nosy Faly boasts some of the most stunning scenic views of the surrounding islands, including Nosy Be and Nosy Komba. The sunsets from the swimming pool are simply magical, and the house-made rum? Easily the best I’ve ever tasted. To top it all off, I was welcomed with a lovely surprise: a complimentary upgrade to a larger tent nestled in the lush tropical gardens. Every detail exceeded my expectations...I’ll definitely be back!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in terms of value for money. The quality of the food and drink is excellent and the rooms are spacious and right on a beautiful stretch of beach. Melissa and Manon are exceptional hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful in booking the various activities that I wanted to do during my stay. Merci pour tous!

Basic, but really beautiful venue. Surrounded by trees with the feel of an eco-lodge. There’s a kite shack on the beach, and from your hut you can see the bay and start kiting right from there. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly and happy to go on all kinds of trips with you. The food is excellent. Quiet.

Beautiful island with fabulous beaches and coral reef, perfect for diving and snorkelling. We got the best bungallow on the north beach with amazing view and a fantastic patio. The team was extremely kind and helpful, big thanks to Lamia, Elena, Luc and Gabriel, who made our stay as comfortable as possible, and helped a lot when I had a health issue. We loved the fresh fruits (especially the passion fruit) at breakfast, when by the way there are more sweet than salty options. The speedboat transfer in the morning hours went very smooth on calm sea. It was a really perfect place to relax after our 7 day tour on the mainland. We hope that we can return to Madagascar and to Tsarabanjina as well.
