The place was conventient, just beside the TNR airport. Also the hotel provide free airport transfer, which was very helpful for anyone traveling here. The staffs were nice and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable as well, with good shower water. Definitely a recommend for travelers coming to Antananarivo.

Nice staff, they accommodated me earlier than check in. The huge room was super clean, the bed very comfortable, breakfast on the rooftop restaurant very good. It is an island of European services. When traveling I prefer more local and cheaper, it is more authentic for me, but for the last night before departure this is a place where you are sure of peace, comfort and cleanliness. Btw everything in the center is within walking distance and even as a woman I felt safe there alone.

Clean rooms with all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, but I especially loved the pillows! There was airport pick up and drop off with the hotel's shared shuttle (though I was the only passenger both ways). The staff were friendly. Even though the Radisson Hotel has no gym, one gets access to the gym (and infinity pool) on the 8th floor of the Radisson Blu next door (3 or so minutes' walk away). Radisson's pool was also great to use. They had a jazz night at the main Tamboho restaurant, and the zebu steak was also nice. The waterfront where the Radisson and Radisson Blu hotels are, is a complex with residential houses and has a mall and food court, so you can get your shopping done, go to the cinema or try out the restaurants. The waterfront is also green and beautiful.

The hotel has an old-fashioned Grand Hotel Budapest type of vibe, especially with all the facilities like spa, pool, bakery in the hotel etc. I absolutely loved the quality of service, the care provided, and the experience of staying there. I'd definitely come back and would recommend it for the stay not only because it's comfortable and central, but because it has a special vibe and makes an experience special. I used their spa twice and it was a great experience! So do go for that massage, a swim, or a facial!

It was a stopover before my next flight. So the hotel being some 15 mins from the airport was very good. I had early flight, but buffet breakfast was available as from 6.00 am which was convenient. It was great to have the free shuttle service to the airport and also the spa facilities included was great for relaxing. Dinner at the hotel was nice too.

Tana has certainly nice area’s, but the center is very crowded and dirty. Not the prettiest place we have been, although the Kings palace (north of Tana), queens palace, marche artisanal de la digue are worth visiting. We did not spent a lot of time in Tana, it was the beginning and end of our trip west and back with rental 4 wheel drive. Maybe next time …

Not many bars/restaurants to choose among.

Not many bars/restaurants to choose among. Some roads are not even asphalted yet. Most of properties look like prisons due to the barbed wire on the walls of houses. You are about 50 minutes driving far from the city centre, but close to Croc farm, worth a visit.

I spent two days in Tana.

I spent two days in Tana. The first day, I rested in my room, by the pool, got a massage and relaxed on the balcony at sunset. Then I chatted with the friendly staff at the bar until bedtime. On day two, I had a very good guide and driver who took me around the city. I'm so glad we visited the markets, and the Queen's Palace!
