We were upgraded to a studio double room with a small kitchen, which was really spacious. The design of the room was really beautiful. Breakfast was really good....walking distance from all anemities We were travelling by bike and the garage was one of the most important features. Recommend 100%

Hotel 1920 is a charming, new boutique hotel right in the city centre, offering easy access to dozens of restaurants and bars. The staff weee delightful (especially Dyani) and the room was spacious, comfortable, modern and clean. There is a wonderful coffee bar/restaurant that has excellent food (our breakfast was included) that can be ordered off the a la carts menu. Parking is available a few blocks away at €10 per night.

From the moment I arrived, the staff Angela made me feel genuinely welcome. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with plenty of healthy options. I especially appreciated the small touches, complimentary tea and kettle and on the eve of my departure Miss Yelena took care of the Turkish bath as well as Miss Angela and don't forget Sir Ernis from Restaurant.

The staff were excellent. The hotel had arranged our airport pickup and though our flight was delayed multiple times, they ensured that the taxi was there to pick us up past midnight! That was very comforting as we were arriving in a country where we didn't speak the language. Evona at the front desk was amazing! Welcoming, warm and cheerful, she arranged taxis for us to visit the vineyards as well as to go to Kotor. She spoke excellent English and ensured that we got the right price with the taxis and took fantastic care of us including arranging lunch for us at the hotel, even though they had a conference and were at capacity.

Very clean and spacious room. Generous breakfast and a small spa at the top floor was very nice to have after a long day driving. Very close to the town centre. Great staff in the reception desk gave us good information and made sure everything was ok and in the restaurant as well.

We actually only stayed here overnight directly from the airport. We arrived later than planned (plane delay) but the staff was incredibly friendly,everything was ready for us and in the morning the breakfast was very tasty and a large portion.

It's an ok city. Safe.

It's an ok city. Safe. But nothing really of note to attract the masses. A good place to stop if arriving late. Our car rental company dropped the car off at the hotel and we drove out to Durmitor for a week and then the coast for the 2nd week. An afternoon and night in Podgorica before we left at the end of the trip. Some decent restaurants around and nice people everywhere.

The length of stay was satisfactory in that it was possible to leave the apartment in the afternoon due to an afternoon flight. Proximity to the airport. And we really liked the apartment on the first floor.

Great Turkish restaurant in front of Clock Tower. Good left luggage facility and Bus station which is just in front of the main train station to Bar and Belgrade. Walking tours very limited. Ours was cancelled, Limited foreign language skills in hotel,, bus and train station, taxis. Most disappointing stop in our tour of 8 Balkan countries

It is perfect to plan a trip closer to the mountains and lake skadar. For me two nights was the perfect amount of time. I recommend using kingfisher for lake skadar tour and eating at Grill House Roštiljijada Was the highlight of the stay!

Podgorica is small and doesn’t feel like a capital. It has lots of nice parks. There are a couple of art galleries, but they only host temporary exhibitions, so they were closed while the displays were being changed. The girl at the hotel told us that not many tourists come to Podgorica, as the seaside locations are more popular. Even so, we visited many places, enjoyed a really nice cake and coffee during the day, and had dinner at Pod Volat, which is an excellent restaurant. By the way there is only one shop in town for souvenirs.

It's a really small village down the road.

It's a really small village down the road. Nice views but this is it, do not expect any attractions. It's basically a good spot to stay for the night while travelling in between different Montenegro localisation (for example if you're planning a boat trip over Skadarlake) Vranjina is a good 1-3 night stay for a cheap price with great local food (prices way better than in the nearby Virpazar). I highly recommend Restoran Obala, amazing food, huge portions and friendly staff.
