From the friendly greetings at the front desk to the delicious meals - a wide selection of breakfast and a la carte, the wonderful staff including the manager who drove us to our tour because there was a traffic jam and our taxi was delayed.  I simply cannot say enough positive and praise for this place. I highly recommend guests to try the stay, meals, and comfort. The location is awesome as its right by the ferry boat and boats to explore the other islands.  Hotel Capitano has given us a lasting impression of good memories. I'll definitely be back for a future stay.

Absolutely a gem! Beautiful property with lovely beach and setting. Excellent restaurants (both are great with very fresh fish - large servings) and the nicest staff (especially head waiter at Rosemarin, pool and beach manager Ivan, breakfast welcome lady, and young ladies at the front desk). The best breakfast of anywhere we stayed. Very pet friendly which we really appreciated. So happy dogs could be on the beach! Wine o’clock at the marina is also a great restaurant. Free electric car charging also appreciated. You can walk to Herceg Novi on the waterfront but really why bother as the food and beach at the hotel are above and beyond anything in the area.

It was a wonderful stay! We had a super room with 2 balconies with a brieth-taken view 🤩 The food was very good too - nice buffet in the evening and in the morning and very nice à la carte restaurant for the lunch. Vida, Zana, Jovana and Janko were the best! Very attentive, always ready to help! Thank you very much! 🙏

The hotel was just stunning! Everything was so incredibly beautiful - the decor of the room, landscapes, the super atmospheric spa area. The room was extremely comfortable with its large bed and luxurious bath room, and the breakfast exceeded all expectations: both the quality and selection were superb. The staff was also exceptionally helpful and very nice. All in all, this is a place I was sad to leave behind.

Mamula Island is such a unique experience!!! I’ve never seen or stayed anywhere like it. 10 out of 10 is not high enough for once you step foot on this beautiful island!!!! It is luxury on another level. The rooms are amazing and the little touches from a tote bag to use during your stay to the sleep spray left on your pillow. There’s so many more too long to list. The staff are all so friendly and attentive. Cannot fault this hotel. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to return.

We would like to say big THANK YOU, to all of the people who welcomed us in this wonderful hotel! So far one of the best holidays we ever had. It’s mine 12 time in Montenegro and I know what to compare with. THE TEAM IS REMARKABLE. All of them extremely polite, with great qualification and knowledge of what they are doing. Amazing English. Unique characters. We will miss them. 
ROOM WAS SUPERB! Comfortable beds, amazing sofa-bed. Top mark cleaning service every day. Beautiful design and great view from the balcony. 
 Another great thing about this hotel is INCLUDED BREAKFAST! Oh my! It was different every day , so many options ( even my DAIRY FREE milk and GLUTEN FREE meals) and everything was so delicious (especially grilled vegetables, hummus and their pies) ! Better then most Turkish All inclusive hotels I’ve been! Really impressed all of us! Our KIDS (6 and 4) WERE WELCOMED everywhere and they could stay kids and supported by the team at the Swedish table. They had so much attention and care. Thank you a lot for your kind approach to them! And another huge plus of this hotel is INFINITY POOL AND SAUNA ON THE ROOF ARE STUNNING! Just a magic! We invited our relatives for extra price and spent lovely evening together! View is gorgeous! 
 
We visited this hotel in early May for 2 weeks and it was great decision as town is quite before summer season. Weather is great not too hot and the water is nice and fresh we swim every day. We took a timer and it says that even walking with two kids it takes just 3 minutes to arrive to the great Raffaelo beach! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone! It is one of the best places in town for sure. 
We wish you all the best and have great new 2024 season!

I visited both Tivat and Kotor, but the Herceg Novi area is definitely the best place to stay around the Bay of Kotor: the most beautiful, cleanest, calmest, nicest vibe, better price level (e.g. accommodation, restaurants, etc.).

Dubrovnik is a great place - but if you can find your way down to Montenegro, and especially the best little place called Igalo go for it... its great, quiet beautiful........... I've been there 8 times!

The beach is nice but it is muddy with rocks so you can’t...

The beach is nice but it is muddy with rocks so you can’t really see them. When you enter there are big rocks (I even cut my leg) and then it starts with the mud. For long it’s shallow which I personally really like. The water was medium warm. Street where the beach is is full of boutiques and restaurants with their private beach part and nice views from the restaurant

Bijela had great opportunities to swim and relax. The local supermarkets and restaurants were not too far away. Bijela was well located tor the ferry and major attractions like Kotor and Perast and also Herceg Novive were easily accessible especially with a car.

We absolutely loved Kamenari, it’s a charming, perfect for real relaxation. The village may be small and lacks its own promenade, but there’s a lovely walk just 10–15 minutes away. The beaches are stunningly beautiful- rocky, with clear water.

Great destination for romantic holiday.

Great destination for romantic holiday. Good restaurants, a lot of clean beaches, good size town, everything was accessible by foot, but enough things to see. A lot of stairs and climbing. Maybe not the best place for small children or elderly. During summer time, climbing can be too much also for fit adults, at least at the daytime.

Bijela is a nice small town, with many shops and restaurants (though prices there are pretty similar to Austrian!). The sea view is fine, but they REALLY lack of wastewater plant. Though this is not specific to Bijela, the whole Kotor bay suffers from water pollution, and from not nice odors near beaches. With the only exception of Herceg Novi. Despite that it is much bigger than Bijela and than most of other places in the bay, the water there is also much cleaner. I believe this is not only because they are located at the entrance to the bay, but also because this is the only town with the sewage processing station in the bay. The rest was amazing, town has everything I was needed -- shops, car rental, public transport connection. The nature and people are amazing!

Amazing place, some strongholds to see, some natural...

Amazing place, some strongholds to see, some natural miracles like blue cafe and Kotor's bay. Somehow hard to drive in there, for the one that got used to broad roads and flat countries :). Very heavy trafic near the coast. Beautifull landscapes. I want to return there.

Bijela was great for peace, quiet and calm. Also, large supermarkets and pekaras are in walking distance. Stunning views as usual. The only caveat is that the beaches are not 100% meant for swimming. There are many boat areas, fishing docks and lack of shade along the coastline (not too many trees like other towns). However, there are pockets of swimming areas, you just have to find them. Baosici Beach (the next town a 10 min walk away) is packed with swimming beaches though, so it's not too big of a deal honestly. Also keep in mind that most beaches in both Bijela and Baosici are rocky, which I personally prefer, but I know some people who would've liked sandy beaches.
