BelgiumWe absolutely adored our stay at the Gradska, too bad we only booked the one night. We loved Cetinje itself, and the rooms in the hotel (and old embassy building) were amazing. Spacious, pretty, with lots of closet space and a big, comfortable bed. Bathroom was amazing as well, with a separate toilet. Breakfast was good and included (à la carte!). Location is excellent, in the middle of the city centre, and the lady at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful.

Adrian, our tour guide was so friendly and down to earth and very knowledgeable about the different wine making techniques. Vesko was a very warming and welcoming host who made sure we were taken care of at all times. The wine tour was amazing and the wine tasting was even better, we had an amazing time and would recommend Markovic Winery to anyone and everyone!!

RussiaI was happy with my stay here. The apartment was very peaceful and quiet, perfect for rest and relaxation. When it got a bit cold, the hosts immediately provided me with a heater, which I really appreciated. The bed linens and matrass were of high quality. I was pleasantly surprised that there was real coffee to brew, not just instant coffee. The kitchen had plenty of napkins, useful little things, even wet wipes in the bathroom. The shower gels were of quality too. The hosts were nice and calm and even treated me with local cheese and meat appetisers. I will definitely return here again. I found both peace and rest here as well as cultural atmosphere of the city. The internet also worked perfectly. Thank you for hospitality.

A place suspended in time, accessible only by car or bicycle, tucked away in a charming family hamlet. Some of the buildings are over 600 years old, others more recent, but all blend harmoniously into a picturesque setting, enhanced by beautifully kept gardens and terraces overlooking the breathtaking Rijeka Crnojevića river.
The welcome is warm, the comfort impeccable, and the food is genuinely excellent, with a small menu that proudly showcases local produce. The honey is homemade, the fish is caught by the hosts themselves, and every dish reflects a true sense of authenticity.
Private boat excursions along the river are also offered. The price (around €90 for two hours) may seem high, but it is in fact on par with the region, especially for such a well-organised and intimate experience.
Staying here is far more than just a stopover – it’s a rare moment of tranquillity, beauty and heartfelt hospitality that you’ll leave with reluctance.

This was my favourite stay in Montenegro. It was very memorable. Very lovely family run business.
They make very nice homemade wines and jams. The wines were worth a try. The home made bbq dinner and breakfast were very tasty. We had to get up earlier to get to the airport so the family even prepared an early breakfast for us, thank you.
We stayed in a bungalow which was basic, cosy and clean. Toilets and bathrooms were also clean. It was very peaceful and the scenery was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

the hotel is ok. the restaurant of the hotel is a good one. they serve a variety of meals from international to national cuisine. I think it's the second time I have arrived at this hotel and probably I will be there again if in the area of Lovcen. it's a good way to spend a day or two far from the heat of summer.

Cetinje, the charming royal capital of Montenegro, exudes an aristocratic allure that reflects its rich history. Revered in poetry, its churches and monasteries served as a beacon of freedom and Christianity during the invasion of the Ottoman hordes, a time when empires and kingdoms across Europe crumbled before the godless Turkish empire. This royal capital and kingdom of Montenegro has often been referred to as the "Sparta of the Balkans" by the Axis powers during the Balkan Wars and World War I, a title it held throughout the centuries amid the storm of Ottoman vermin.
The Palace of the Royal Family Petrović Njegoš and the embassies of former empires and kingdoms of Europe and the world. These landmarks once again indicate the importance of the fortress of Christianity at that time. A city with fewer than six thousand inhabitants in the 17th and 18th centuries had twenty embassies.
In the centre are two supermarkets, many bars, pastry shops, and restaurants. All these places are exceptional, but in my humble opinion, I feel best and eat in the restaurant "Kod Kola," where the specialties of Montenegrin cuisine, as well as contemporary dishes, are extraordinary. I have visited this city many times, but I am always fascinated by its beauty, hospitality, and nobility.

Beautifull place, lot of mountains and nice lake. Be carefull on people, they are trying to rob you. If you go on trip, always check what is usuall price, because people here are not hesitating to ask twice price. For me beautifull country with disgusting people. (doesn't belong to people where we lived, the Dujeva Drago resort. From them I didn't have feeling they want to rob me, they were very serious).
Very important notice!!! don't pay in advance for accomodation. I did it in arabela apartments and I become hostage.

We absolutely loved everything about Mountain Harmony. The apartment is in a very nice and quiet location on the mountains and it is beautifully decorated. I feels very cozy and warm, like a home away from home. We loved the fact that we were received by the owner who handed us the keys and showed us her property and she explained every detail, including places to go visit . It is rare nowadays being greeted by the owner of the property since most accommodations provide a code to get the keys in a safe box. This is certainly useful if you're planning to arrive late but at the same time it feels very impersonal. In Mountain Harmony everything was about having a personal experience. The owner is a very nice woman, she left some chocolates and candies for our four children and she even offered us to bring breakfast one of the days but because we went to bed late the night before we asked her not to bring the breakfast since we preferred to rest a little bit longer. We felt very thankful for her great hospitality and our children really enjoyed the house and the trampoline in the backyard. There's as well a super friendly dog from one of the neighbors who came to greet us every day and our children loved playing with him. Everything was fabulous and we will certainly return here if we decide to go back to Montenegro in the future.

View from the boat are as good as from a mountain - different but still stunning! Thanks to the captain Dragan, who always very nice and helpful! We reccomend a boat trip trought to Skadar Lake with him.

Although we loved the appartment we stayed in we were...
Although we loved the appartment we stayed in we were disappointed to find that some of the attractions in Cetinje were not open. For example the National History Museum is closed for renovation (although the Art Museum is open). Also we were not allowed into the Monastery - pre-booked guided tours are the only option and there weren't any whilst we were there. However, we had a wonderful time hiking in the local countryside in the Lovcen National Park which is only 30 minutes away. We also had a great meals in the Kole Restaurant (fantastic spaghetti carbonara) and Restoran TaveRna (lovely pizza).

Rijeka Crnojevica is an amazing place...in the future the place can became a pearl of Skadar Lake....Nice restaurants, amazing views, close to Cetinje and Podgorica and excellent taxi boats to visit the lake...Perfect place.
