Our first trip in Marrakesh was wonderful because of great and professional stuff of the Ari Boutique hotel. The room was clean and we had everyday cleaning service. The breakfast was delicious. The reception managers were very helpful and polite. We arrived at 01:00 am, so beforehand I had ordered airport shuttle service. The driver had been waiting for us at the airport’s exit , when we went outside. I can highly recommend this hotel.

From our very first night to our last, he has gone beyond and above for my two boys and I. He really made our 3 nights stay and money worth every cent. For his beautiful kindness, he showed toward us and his excellent customer service, I will definitely come back and hope he will still be working at the hotel when we do come back. Everything! We loved everything about it! The staff were so friendly, helpful and entertaining always smiling at us as if knew each other well , environment and the rooms clean and was clean every single day without being reminded, food was great and we had more than enough food and drinks, so many options to choose from, receptionist amazing, we got value for our money ! Good experience but get ready to pay London/ Europe prices everywhere or some places are even expensive. Be ware of cold weather and pack well fro winters This country is not winter friendly- we suffered in cold 🥶 Heating is not available anywhere and places like riad or hotels will be freezing all they give is an extra blanket

I loved everything about the villa and not far from the centre Stayed in the Medina previously on a few occasions but much preferred the peace and quiet I ate every night in the restaurant there Only down fall was I was only there for 4 nights

MEDINA very interesting.

MEDINA very interesting. Walking the narrow streets is a big risk with literally 100 's of motor bikes.Walking is the only reasonable option, but be vigilant. On the whole really nice people. The Riad Celia is shabby ( photos ) l had one small window,cracked with a smashed latch ( photo ) no security whatsoever . Towel rail hanging off the wall, front door stapled together ( photo ). I requested a lower room ( knees ) and was given the very top room. Lots of stairs. I feel some form of compensation is in order.

On arrival we checked in they told us they would let us

On arrival we checked in they told us they would let us know if the room was ready! We waited two hours ordering two lattes in the meantime that definitely weren't lattes more like sugary coffee water with no milk we then went to check an they took us down there was no sun lounges on the cabin we booked which is advertised in the photos there was building work going on in the cabin behind us so we asked to get some loungers brought down so we had something to enjoy the sun in! Considering we paid £200 we waited maybe an hour before anyone came down there was cigarette butts around the pool that we had been checked into on our private room neither me nor my partner smoke so was dissapointed as we hate this. They then came down an told us to move cabin so we moved to the one in front hurrying to get our stuff back in suitcase and down to the second room forgetting some of our belongings we then go back to check if we left there an gone (someone had collected them an not informed us even though they literally moved us in the 10minute period so took some of our belongings to reception without telling us). Our new cabins half the decking had collapsed and fallen through and been covered up with a rug 3 floor boards we're sticking in the air that I tripped and hurt my ankle on. The new cabin had a bath with no bath Matt and no bath plug so it was a weird bath with a hand held shower which is difficult to wash in! We didn't really understand. The next day we had hairs in our food that we ordered I informed staff an they replaced the food I noticed another hair in the second food an couldn't be asked to complain again also the tea in the morning tasted like it had salt in! Either they didn't like us or the attention to detail really isn't there. Loooks great on Instagram an update at the view but the detail is missing things and the health an safety!

A mix of Arab, Berber and European cultures.

A mix of Arab, Berber and European cultures. It deserves all the attention: the old town with its markets and narrow busy streets, secret gardens and amazing mosques. An hour car trip to the Agafay rocky desert and the Ourika Valley with its waterfalls up the NE slopes of Atlas Mountains. Just go to the El Fna Square and climb to the rooftop of the Terrace Cafe de France to watch the sunset or to the L'Adresse restaurant on the other side of the square to see the Atlas Mountains and Tubkal Peak. Go to the Mellah neighborhood to see the palaces El Badii and Bahia and walk the streets of the former Jewish quarter. Buy the spices at the Mellah Marquet.
