The staff were exceptionally good. I booked a night at swiss continental hotel, checked out the next day to Grand Plaza hotel for 5 days but had to conceal 3 nights at Grand Plaza back to Swiss continental hotel. The service I got from the Swiss continental hotel was far more superior with their rooms far cheaper compared to others.

This hotel is perfect for families. There are so many different pools, but the site is not huge, so everything is easy to access. There are more sunbeds than people, so never a fight to get a good spot. Plenty of umbrellas, fo those who like a bit of shade too. The food is fantastic and plenty of choice at all meal times, also alot of space and we arrived for dinner at opening time every night without a problem finding a table. The staff can't do enough for you, they are always happy to answer questions and help. The animation team are brilliant! We had the pleasure of meeting Jade on her first week, working with them, and she is absolutely going to be such a special part of the team. Jade made us feel so welcome and we hope to come back and see you again soon!! All the staff speak fantastic English, which made it a little easier for us as our Moroccan Arabic is non existent, but French is spoken widely out there aswell. Our daughter loved the water park, there are so many slides and there was never a que to get on them. Everything is kept so clean and tidy, the staff really do take care of everything. We had a room with a sliding door to a second room, with a balcony, which was perfect for our daughter to have own space. The evening entertainment is fabulous! The animation team really do put in so much hard work to make sure they put on great shows. The fire show is an absolute must!!! All round this hotel is one of our favorite pleace we have ever been, after spending many years going to Turkey, we have now fallen in love with Morocco and can't wait to come back.

Marrakech is very crowded and must be even more so during...

Marrakech is very crowded and must be even more so during the warmer times of year. There are not a lot of things to do inside if the weather is bad. Some restaurants e.g. Nomad are over priced. Le Jardin Secret is definitely worth a visit. It is very French which I love but I still prefer Istanbul.

I loved everything about the villa and not far from the centre Stayed in the Medina previously on a few occasions but much preferred the peace and quiet I ate every night in the restaurant there Only down fall was I was only there for 4 nights

Marrakesh is a gorgeous place if you are looking for an authentic , rural stay. However, for the various trips/excursions do ensure you confirm pick- up from where you are staying. For two of our trips (the hot- air balloon ride and the hammam/ spa) , we had to pay to the venue even though it was clearly stated when we booked that pick-up and drop- off was part of the packages.

On arrival we checked in they told us they would let us know if the room was ready! We waited two hours ordering two lattes in the meantime that definitely weren't lattes more like sugary coffee water with no milk we then went to check an they took us down there was no sun lounges on the cabin we booked which is advertised in the photos there was building work going on in the cabin behind us so we asked to get some loungers brought down so we had something to enjoy the sun in! Considering we paid £200 we waited maybe an hour before anyone came down there was cigarette butts around the pool that we had been checked into on our private room neither me nor my partner smoke so was dissapointed as we hate this. They then came down an told us to move cabin so we moved to the one in front hurrying to get our stuff back in suitcase and down to the second room forgetting some of our belongings we then go back to check if we left there an gone (someone had collected them an not informed us even though they literally moved us in the 10minute period so took some of our belongings to reception without telling us). Our new cabins half the decking had collapsed and fallen through and been covered up with a rug 3 floor boards we're sticking in the air that I tripped and hurt my ankle on. The new cabin had a bath with no bath Matt and no bath plug so it was a weird bath with a hand held shower which is difficult to wash in! We didn't really understand. The next day we had hairs in our food that we ordered I informed staff an they replaced the food I noticed another hair in the second food an couldn't be asked to complain again also the tea in the morning tasted like it had salt in! Either they didn't like us or the attention to detail really isn't there. Loooks great on Instagram an update at the view but the detail is missing things and the health an safety!

Good experience but get ready to pay London/ Europe prices everywhere or some places are even expensive. Be ware of cold weather and pack well fro winters This country is not winter friendly- we suffered in cold 🥶 Heating is not available anywhere and places like riad or hotels will be freezing all they give is an extra blanket
