We probably have been upgraded to higher room category because we received a very spacious and quiet double room with large beds on th 3rd floor and our breakfast were served directly by the waiter at the table. Staying at Riad Jnane Fes Medina & Luxury Palace was one of the highlights of my trip to fez. The riad itself is stunning , a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan charm and modern comfort. But what made the stay truly special was the staff. Kenza welcomed us with the warmest smile and made me feel at home immediatly. Mostapha was equally wonderful --always attentive , and ready to help with anything i needed ,from directions to recommandations. Thanks to them, my time in fez felt effortless and memorable. Highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting the city.

The riad is absolutely beautiful and full of charm, in a fantastic location on a very safe street, and the locals are incredibly friendly. Beautiful Riad. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room, with the riad’s sitting and dining area great to relax in. Sometimes with a mint tea after our exploring! We also used the roof a lot - had a couple of days when we did a little less sight seeing and prioritised reading and resting on the roof. Riad Jamai is situated near the edge of the medina so making it easy both to explore the medina fully by foot, and also if you want to use the Petit Taxi it’s easy to get a taxi from or to other gates. Don’t miss the bustling local streets - the Andalusian Mosque and Tanneries are close by, and the shops and stalls have a different feel near the riad (fewer tourists). Further in, we enjoyed the Nejjarine wood crafts museum and the Al-Atterine Madrassa in the old town - as well as specific souks (such as the henna souk). Also a little further out but still quite local are the Marinid tombs. We organised 2 trips out through Riad Jamai (Volubilis/Meknes; Mid Atlas) which was a lovely way to explore. Recommend also a trip to the new town (we tried a hammam) and if you are interested in the working equids of Fes the American Fondouk (veterinary care for donkeys, mules and horses) is open to the public 8-12 on weekdays, is a short taxi drive away, and is also near the Jewish Quarter - which was well worth the visit. V We found Riad Jamai a friendly, helpful and very beautiful spot to do so much exploring from with great breakfasts and when we wanted to eat in that was wonderful too. I was with my mum and we were visiting my niece - the final night we had my niece and some of her friends over and we had a great meal there on our last night.

I booked a room at the Sheherazade Palace with a great discount, but what amazed me the most was that it was a truly magnificent palace—like a rare masterpiece. The view was unlike anything I had ever seen in my life, breathtaking and mesmerizing. The architecture and ambiance made me feel like I was in a fairy tale, blending luxury with history in a way that left me speechless.

Wonderful oasis just outside of Fez. We really enjoyed our stay, everything was great, the room, the breakfast, the helpful staff, the pool, the huge terrace, the atmosphere. The location is also excellent as it allowed us to relax from the busy medina in Fez. The Riad is on a villa street in the modern neighbourhood. 10/10

The feel of this hotel is quite special, it really was an old palace in Fez. They have furnished it with period pieces and they have so many little rooms and areas to enjoy. The restaurant is very worth the visit as is the bar.

The Medina is the big draw here and one could spend a whole...

The Medina is the big draw here and one could spend a whole day just wandering amongst the many alleyways and shops taking in the atmosphere, sights and sounds. That said there is a lot of repetitive tourist tat and fruit\meat stalls. I was disappointed by the tannery, not much work going on outside (supposedly now all done inside) though there was hardly any smell. Surprisingly we were not hassled too much by any shop owner and haggling for a lower price was not aggressive. One day is enough in Fes and add another day for a trip out to Volubilis and you're done IMHO. We stayed 3 days in all and this was more than enough.

I liked the most that Fes is a very traditional town with no many tourists. Has old medina better than Marrakech. I like this town vibe and authentically. I like is safe and with good people who always want to help.
